13 Mistakes That Made Tony Stark Stronger every time

Everyone in life makes mistakes and it’s alright to make mistakes. Making mistakes doesn’t make you look stupid but Do you know what does make you look stupid? Not learning from your mistakes. Life is all about learning from your mistakes. Even people who we idolise also make mistakes but they learn from them and move on. Just like our beloved Tony Stark has done.

Although Tony Stark is a genius yet he is one of the Avengers who’s known for making blunders. He had made several mistakes but he learned from them and came out stronger than ever. His mistakes made him one of the mightiest Avenger.

Major mistakes that made Tony Stark stronger than ever

Number – 1 GPS

In Iron Man 1, Tony Stark stood lost in Afghanistan after escaping his abductors and had no way to get back home then he realised that his suit does not have a GPS. He then starts installing GPS in his suits so that this could never happen to his friends. This feature was first noted in Spiderman: Homecoming. Although he installed GPS into Peter’s suit so that he can keep an eye on him but it was very useful.

Number – 2 Icing problem

Next Comes the Icing problem in his suit in the same movie. His suit starts freezing when as he goes higher into the atmosphere. He fixed this problem by using a new gold titanium alloy which has a low freezing point for making his suit.

Number – 3 Watch

In Iron Man 3, when Tony is captured by his enemy Aldrich Killian, he again had to wait for his suit. So he rectifies this mistake in Civil war by adding a nano blaster to his watch. So that he can defend himself in a vulnerable situation.

Number – 4 Lightning Blast

In the Avengers, during Tony and Thor’s face-off, Thor hits him with his lightning blast. Although Tony Stark’s suit was able to absorb the power from the blast he had no way to utilise that power which led him to make his Mark 85 armour we saw in Avengers: Endgame. In Mark 85, he added a lightning refocuser which was designed to absorb a huge amount of Thor’s lightning power and convert it into a powerful lightning blast and he used this blast on Thanos.

Number – 5 Mark 42 Armour

Next is the scene from the Avengers, where Tony Stark was seen carrying the missile launched by the SHIELD to the Chitauri ship he almost dies when he falls from the sky. For not letting this happen again, he made Mark 42 armour seen in Iron Man 3 in which he added autonomous propulsion which allows him to control his suit from anywhere. Also, he can use and control parts of his suit individually.

Number – 6 Iron Legion

In the Avengers, at the end, Tony Stark feels that even after all the Avengers fought together they still weren’t able to fight off the Chitauri force, save the civilians and control the damage altogether. Realising that this wasn’t enough, he made a army of his own, called the Iron Legion in Iron Man 3. Only Tony and Jarvis was able to control and command The Iron Legion. He still felt that this wasn’t enough, so he tried to improve it by making the Ultron in Avengers: Age of Ultron which totally backfired.

Number – 7 Hulk Buster suit

Also, In the Avengers Tony realised that The Hulk has a lot of power which he can’t control and this could be a problem for the Avengers also. To fix this, he made the Hulk Buster suit. This also led us to notice that Tony is a genius and thinks for the future. Nobody else could have thought of this. If not for Tony, no other Avenger could have stopped The Hulk.

Number – 8 Blasters

Later on, Tony notices that many of his blasts went unaffected on Aldrich Killian and The Hulk, to fix this he added new huge blasters in his suit which are detachable from his suit. Imagine Drax taking one of these attacks on himself which he was saying he can but his teammates denied.

Number – 9 Stabilisers

Tony also realised that he had to use both his hand and legs to keep him stable in the air which makes him vulnerable and to fix this he added air stabilisers in his nanotech suits. It improves his command on his flight.

Number – 10 Fighting with Whiplash

In Iron Man 2, while Tony Stark was fighting with Whiplash, he didn’t have his armour at that moment and he has to wait too much for his Mark 5 armour to arrive till then he was vulnerable against Whiplash. He soon fixed this mistake in the Avenger movie when changed his armour from Mark 5 to Mark 7. Mark 7 was controlled by his bracelet and he could use it from anywhere. Later on, he made a nanoparticle suit and added it into his Arc reactor which allowed him to suit up anywhere and anytime.

Number – 11 Rescue Armour

In Iron Man 3, Tony’s home was attacked which made him realise that he’s putting Pepper’s life in danger. This led him to make a suit for Pepper, called Rescue which she was seen wearing in the Endgame.

Number – 12 Frozen

Next scene was from The Iron man 3, when Tony’s suit gets discharged and he was almost frozen to death. Later on, this mistake was fixed in Spider: Homecoming where Peter was seen freezing in the cold as he came out of the water but his suit had an auto dry feature which saved him. Though it’s a very minor but interesting detail.

Number – 13 Thrusters

In the Civil war, after the battle, Tony and War machine tried chasing Captain who was sitting in the Quingent but they were not able to do so. To improve this, he adds powerful thrusters in his nano suits so that he can be a lot faster. Also when Rhodey gets hit by Vision’s blast and gets heavily injured by falling from so high, after watching this Tony adds a parachute in the suits.

At the end of the Civil war, Tony’s aiming system in his suit gets damaged so he has to aim himself. To avoid this he adds auto-aiming missiles in his suit.
