Officially Confirmed: Classroom of The Elite Season 2 is Happening!

A Japanese anime, Classroom of The Elite, is a Light Novel series written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. The Series basically covers the genre of psychological and drama, and the main theme of the Series is school life. The fictional Series follows through the adventures of the leading character Ayanokouji.
The main protagonist, Ayanokouji, is a second-year student in the school of Advance Nurturing. He hasn’t received good grades in the entrance exams, but have passed with 50 points in each subject, because of which he is placed in D-Class. The character is incredibly intelligent and would like to keep a distance from others.
The average grader protagonist, Ayanokouji, is an unnoticed yet modest being who has the ability to read the emotions of others around him accurately and use it either for helping or destroying them. The school Ayanokouji studies provide freedom for students with their hairstyles, dresses, or anything. However, in the school, some of the superior students do receive special treatment, and the main character being in D-Class, is where the school dumps the ‘inferior’ students.
The anime, Classroom of The Elite released its season 1 in July 2017. Season 1 contains 12 episodes of 30 minutes per episode, and the last episode was released in September 2017. After a long wait of 4-5 years, the news of season 2 of Classroom of the Elite is finally happening.

The Light Novel name on which the Japanese anime is based is Yōkoso Jitsuryoku Shijō Shugi no Kyōshitsu e, which in English translates to ‘Welcome to the Classroom of the Supreme Ability Doctrine.’
Shōgo Kinugasa, the writer, and Shunsaku Tomose, the illustrator of the novel, have published 11 volumes for the first year of Classroom of The Elite novel series in Japan. And till now, the second year of Classroom of The Elite entails six books.
Along with the Light Novel, the Manga also has Classroom Of The Elite, which entails 11 volumes too, which included the events of the first year. The second year of the Japanese Series started this year in 2022.

Is The Classroom of The Elite Light Novel Finished?
No, don’t be disappointed, the Classroom of The Elite Light Novel hasn’t finished, and it still will be going on in 2022. Shōgo Kinugasa, the writer, has published another volume in Japan on January 25th, 2022.
The Light Novel series have issued three volumes so far covering the various psychological and dramatic events of the characters. In the last year, 2021, all the three volumes were available for the public, and most likely, by the end of July 2022, a Second Year Volume of Classroom of The Elite will be published.
Which Volumes Will Classroom of The Elite Season 2 Cover?
The high chances of the Japanese Series, Classroom of The Elite Season 2, will cover the Light Novel volumes 4, 4.5, 5 and would probably end with Volume 6 or 7. The next season, Season 3, would cover the rest of the volumes till 11.5.

How Many Seasons Will Classroom of The Elite Have?
With the assumption of Classroom Of The Elite Season 2 would be turned into anime as well, the Japanese Series would at least release six seasons in total. And also, one-two seasons are not enough to cover all the volumes released till the day, until and unless there are more than 12-13 episodes which are divided into two cours.
If we look in detail, in 12-13 episodes, only three volumes of Light Novels are covered, and there are 11 volumes left. The whole first year of Classroom of The Elite is left in these 11 volumes of Light Novels, and some of it would probably be covered in the second season. But, if they cover five volumes in only 12-13 episodes, that would be a horrible adaptation of the novels. So there is a high chance there is more to the future of Classroom of The Elite, instead of just two seasons.
Classroom of The Elite Season 2 Release Date
The officially confirmed Classroom of The Elite Season 2 is finally happening, and it will be available for everyone by July 2022. Along with that, the news of officially confirmed Classroom of the Elite Season 3 is mentioned too, which will be released next year, 2023.

The main lead, Ayanokouji, is a tall young boy who has brown hair and brown eyes with a fair complexion. He wears some kind of usual school uniform, shown in the key visual too, and the taller he grows taller as the time flies.
