She is somewhat quirky in her own way, and whenever he runs into her, she is increasingly friendly towards Kyoutarou.
The boy cannot help but feel endearment towards his prime target, and as they spend more time together, his willingness to protect her increases.
Will Kyoutarou s’ newfound friendship with Anna stop the violent thoughts and change his perspective is the central plot of the show.

Dangers in My Heart Season One aired from 2nd April 2023 to 18th June 2023 for 12 episodes.
Prior to the finale of season one, the anime s’ official Twitter announced the renewal of Dangers in My Heart Season 2.

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu manga is written and illustrated by Norio Sakurai. It started serialization in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine on 8th March 2018.
On 10th April 2018, the series was transferred to the Champion Cross manga website. On 10th July 2018, Akita Shoten merged Champion Cross with their newly created manga website, Manga Cross. When the websites merged, it was transferred to Manga Cross.
The manga has been collected into 8 volumes, with the latest issue released on 8th March 2023.

DANGERS IN MY HEART SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Dangers in My Heart Season One, “I Wanted To Be Seen” because Anna shows up before the expected time, Kyotaro winds up meeting her at the shrine with Kana and his folks.
As his arm is broken, Kyotaro cannot applaud during prayers, so Anna helps with her own hand.
Kana leaves them alone but thanks Anna for being Kyotaro’s friend. Anna insists on looking at more photos, but he panics when she finds a magazine of her pictures, and as he jumps to hide, it ends up fully on top of her.
They are both embarrassed, but Anna is not upset and instead takes copies of his photos, promising he can see her photos next time.
Kyotaro is confused as it sounds like she wants him to visit her house. Flashbacks show Kyotaro lost his friends because his grades were not good enough to attend the same school.
Seeing Anna at school the next day, he is compelled to tell her she is why he could enjoy going to school again, so she hugs him, and he hugs her back.
Moeko spots them being awkward afterward and mistakenly assumes they have “done it.”
Dangers in My Heart Season One adapted the first 56 chapters of the manga, which means Dangers in My Heart Season 2 will begin by adapting Chapter 57.
Ichikawa is dreaming about his past when he failed to get into his desired private school and scared away some friends with the macabre cover of the murder book he was reading.
He wakes up sweating, thinking about how his going over his pictures album made him have such strange dreams.
He strips off his over-shirt and looks at his clock, realizing that school starts back after Winter Break today.
He reaches for the murder books on his desk, and Lucifer Nigorikawa manifests, saying he never learns and that he might freak people out again.
Ichikawa asks why Nigorikawa is shirtless today, and he replies that he is his heart and asks if he doesn’t want to expose his feelings.
