Danmachi or Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Written by Fujino, Ōmori has quite a niche fanbase in the anime community. A fan favourite of the fantasy-comedy genre, Danmachi first aired way back in April 2015. The light novel series, anime adapted by J.C. Staff, is set for a fourth season seven years on.
The story revolves around the protagonist Bell Cranel a 14-year-old adventurer and the only member of the Hestia Familia. His sole goal is to become stronger than Aos Wallenstein, a powerful and famous swordsman of the Loki Familia. Bell has many romantic admirers from gods, humans and Hestia, the Familia head herself.

J.C. Staff, a veteran in anime production (since 1989) and fantasy series, have not officially confirmed Danmachi Season 4 release date. Warner Bros. Japan Anime s’ YouTube Channel released a teaser trailer on 31st Jan 2021, establishing the renewal of the new season.
At GA FES held on 31st Jan 2021, it was announced Danmachi Season 4 would come out, but a window of premier wasn’t mentioned.
Danmachi, except in 2018, has always released either a new season, movie, or an OVA since 2015. The release history of Danmachi (refer to the table below) suggests that it takes anywhere from 12 to 18 months to release a new season.

DanMachi Season 4 s’ main director will be Hideki Tachibana. Shigeki Kimoto will be the chief character designer, while Hideki Shirane shall write Script. Akutagawa Jin will provide the sound and Keiji Inai is responsible for the music.
DanMachi Season 4 will also see the first-time writer of light novel Fujino Omori as script supervisor and series composition writer. Light novel readers should probably not complain about the faithfulness of anime adaption.

What is DanMachi Season 4 s’ Main Plot?
In the finale of DanMachi Season 3, “Hero s’ Return”, we saw the much-anticipated showdown between Bell and Asterius. The duel begins with Bell realizing that Asterius reincarnated as Xenos from the Minotaur he once fought in the dungeon.
During this battle, we understand the plan of Hermes to locate Bell using the bracelet he gave to Gros. Gros manages to find Bell and intends to fight him, only to back out at the last moment of attack.
Bell and Xenos start duelling as the city around them begin to crumble in destruction. Enos lands a fatal blow and settles the score of the previous defeat by giving Bell a chance to live.
The trailer shows that Damachi Season 4 will look back on Bell’s history and adventures. Bell will be self-reflecting and directed to determine what he wants from himself.
With his status assured and having ranked up, Bell is well respected in Orario. Bell Cranel and Hestia will be fighting and preparing after receiving the letter for their first expedition journey.
The new season will also try to answer the question as to why Freya was involved in the fight against Bell.
Furthermore, after the defeat against Xenos, Bell will look to get stronger by training with his old master Ais Wallenstein. He would want to avenge his loss after being promised a rematch by Aesterius.
DanMachi Season 4 will adapt the “Chapter New:Labyrinth Arc”.

The characters have developed while the adventure and fights have scaled to a more serious level. The expectations and anticipation for the new season just could not be any bigger!
