Did Thanos Know About The Celestial Emergence In Infinity War?

Celestial Emergence was much known to Thanos in Infinity War is still something that we are not aware of.

Introduction

Eternal takes place after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. It mentions Thanos‘ snap at a point.

Insights

However, after learning more about “The Emergence”, the question was raised: Did Thanos know of Tiamat’s birth during Infinity War? The Infinity Saga was the first three phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

It featured Thanos as the antagonist, and he pursued his quest for the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet. While Thanos did get what he wanted in Avengers Endgame, his disastrous actions were reversed, and he and his armies were defeated.

It allowed the MCU to explore new characters and events in Phase 4.

The central concept of the MCU Phase 4 is the multiverse. However, Marvel is taking the time to introduce new characters whose stories are independent of the multiverse (at the very least).

The Eternals were among those who made their debut in the movie with the same title directed by Chloe Zhao. The Celestial Arishem created the Eternals, an alien race sent to Earth to defend it from its evil counterparts, the Deviants.

They remained on Earth for hundreds of years and did not interfere in human conflicts.

It led to their separation. The Eternals reunited years later when the Deviants returned. Their leader Ajak (Salma Hayek) was killed, and an apocalyptic event called “The Emergence” quickly approached.

The rest of the team discovered the truth through Sersi, Gemma Chan, the new leader of Eternals. They also learned about the purpose and origin of their Eternals.

It was the story of The Emergence, which was the birth of a Celestial whose seed was planted in Earth and whose literal Emergence would destroy the entire planet.

Tiamut was the Celestial that was expected to be born on Earth. However, due to the strong bonds that many of the Eternals had formed with humanity, they joined hands and stopped Tiamut from being born, saving Earth.

Eternals explains that the Deviants went rogue, so the Eternals were created to stop them. Earth needed the energy of humans to allow Tiamut to emerge.

The Emergence was also delayed by Thanos’ snap, making it unclear if Thanos knew of Tiamut’s birth.

Thanos planned to take all the Infinity Stones and the Infinity Gauntlet to wipe out half of the universe’s life.

It was to restore balance. Thanos’ desire to “save” all of the universes by eliminating half its population was triggered by Titan, his home planet is overpopulated.

Avengers Thanos achieved what he desired, but the other half of the universe was restored in Avengers Endgame.

The Emergence required a certain number of people and energy to occur, so the event was postponed. It’s not stated in, nor in any other MCU movie, if Thanos was aware of The Emergence in Infinity War, but it is most likely that he did.

Thanos wanted to preserve all life in the universe, but he used very questionable methods and The Emergence, which would have meant the destruction of entire planets, was against this.

The delay of The Emergence would have made the snap even more important, saving lives and planets.
