If you are a fan of Dark fantasy graphical violence series such as Berserk and Hellsing Ultimate, Fall 2018 would have been a treat as the anime adaption of Kumo Kagyu, Goblin Slayer hit the small screen.
The story’s premise is set in a world where Goblins are considered the lowliest creature who kill and reproduce rapidly. They are overlooked as the bounties on their heads are cheap, which allows them to carry their onslaught without retribution.
The story follows the adventures of the titular character Goblin Slayer, a warrior that has dedicated his life to the utter eradication of all goblins, which makes him seem like a complete lunatic to his fellow adventurers.
Goblins are seen as nothing more than mob monsters that only kill villagers and rookies; nevertheless, Goblin Slayer continues on his quest and eventually runs into a newcomer adventurer girl he saves during one of his slaughters.
The girl is revealed to be a Porcelain-ranked adventurer, the 15-year-old Priestess who, along with her group, is investigating the involvement of a goblin tribe in the disappearance of several village women.
They had wandered into a dangerous cave with no prior experience and faced ambush, only to be saved by the Goblin Slayer, who rescued her and killed the entire goblin nest.
Although the Goblin Slayer is averse to making human connections, he accepts the Priestess and her Adventure Guild, whose members include High Elf, Dwarf, and Lizard-man.

Goblin Slayer light novel is written by Kumo Kagyu with illustrations from Noboru Kannatsuki. It began publishing online by SB Creative under the GA Bunko imprint on 15th February 2016.
As of 23rd August 2022, sixteen volumes of the publication have been released in Japan, with the latest issue being made available for purchase.
Goblin Slayer light novel was the tenth bestselling light novel from 18th July 2022 to 24th July 2022 in Japan.

Goblin Slayer manga was written by Kosuke Kurose and began serialization in Monthly Big Gangan magazine in June 2016.

GOBLIN SLAYER SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Goblin Slayer season one, titled “The Fate of an Adventurer,” we see the Goblin Lord defeated by the Goblin Slayer, who is subsequently saved by the Priestess using protection spells to trap the Goblin Lord.
The Goblin Lord pretends to be good in Infront of the Priestess but to no avail and gets killed by the Goblin Slayer.
With all the goblins obliterated and the farm secured, the adventurers celebrate at the guild. Cow Girl expresses her desire to become an adventurer while the identity of the Goblin Slayer is revealed.
The Priestess describes the protagonist as a mere pawn in a game that has captured the attention of the gods. She then notes that Goblin Slayer continues to engage in combat.
The initial season of Goblin Slayer series encompassed twenty-nine manga chapters across two volumes, thereby implying that the forthcoming Goblin Slayer season 2 will commence by covering the third volume.
Goblin Slayer or Orcbolg will continue his mission to kill all the goblins but with a mellowed approach and positive thinking.
The Harvest festival begins, and everyone is busy preparing for it except the Goblin Slayer, who feels a threat is around the corner.
A new mission featuring the Goblin Slayer and the Priestess will see the pair going into a mine infested with goblins who have kidnapped maidens from the village.

The anime Goblin Slayer is helmed by director Takaharu Ozaki, with series composition and scripting handled by Higeyuki Kurata.
