God observes that he’s pretty calm about the whole situation, and Touya answers that it just feels like this is all a dream. Besides, there’s no use complaining about what’s already been done.
Seems like Touya’s an ‘it is what it is’ and “so-it-goes” kind of guy. Touya asks what’s going to happen to him now, and God replies that he’ll be resurrected at once.
Since Touya is taking everything like a champ, God asks if there’s anything he’d like him to do to make up for this little mishap.
Touya pulls out his smartphone and asks God if he can bring it with him to the other world.
Though God doesn’t answer immediately, he allows it and says he can charge the battery with magic. This shocks Touya, and he questions if there’s magic in the other world.
Touya then asks if calling his original world would be feasible, but God says that he won’t be able to interact with it directly.
He can watch or read things from it, though. To top it all off, God will make it so that Touya can call him, too.
Touya begins his journey in the new world and finds out he has an affinity for cute girls, who are the twins Linze and Elze Silhoueska, Yumina Urnea Belfast, Leen, and Yae Kokonoe.
Not only provide romantic frustration to Touya and companionship as he traverses through and learns the secrets of this new magical world.
The first and second season of In Another World With My Smartphone was received with mixed reactions as some labeled the series as cliché isekai with nothing new while others enjoyed the use of technology in an old fashion setting.
