NIER: AUTOMATA VER1.1A SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a Season 1, “Flowers for m[A]chines”, commanders go against the orders and use the bunker laser to destroy Adam.
The signal emanating from Adam has been detected by the Pods in the crater. In response, 2B and 9S have been dispatched to eliminate him.
When they arrive, Adam is already wounded, and before dying, he accepts his fate as it will reunite him with Eve.
Adam s’ death also shuts the nearby machines, which puts an end to their ambush.
As per the recent developments, 9S was found to be infected with a logic virus, which was a result of hacking Adam. In order to prevent further harm, 2B was forced to take the difficult decision of mercy killing 9S, which led to her breaking down over his unfortunate demise.
However, it was later discovered that 9S had managed to save himself by transferring his consciousness to a nearby Machine.
In the aftermath of the credit scene, while 9S undergoes repair at the Bunker, he establishes a connection with the Bunker’s server. Detecting an aberration, 9S takes measures to avoid syncing his and 2B’s data with the Bunker server.
During the course of his investigation, the protagonist inadvertently triggers the defense mechanism of the server he is investigating. Subsequently, he comes across two identical girls attired in red dresses who claim to be observing the androids. With their assistance, the protagonist – 9S – is able to uncover the truth about Project YoRHa.
The protagonist discovers that the human race has been extinct for a significant period of time and that a project known as YoRHa was initiated to boost the morale of the androids by deceiving them into believing that humans are still residing on the Moon.
Upon awakening, 9S promptly responds to 2B’s request for backup. It is worth noting that while he was engaged in this activity, he was being secretly observed by an unidentified individual, a girl donning a red dress.
The upcoming sequel of the anime will be a continuation of its first season, as it is based on the game rather than a source material such as NieR: Automata Ver1.1a manga.
In the upcoming season 2 of NieR: Automata Ver1.1a, it is highly anticipated that the secret of command will be unveiled. It is expected that this revelation will provide valuable insights into the game’s mechanics and storyline.
As such, fans and enthusiasts of NieR: Automata are advised to keep a close eye on the upcoming season and stay updated on any announcements and developments.
Based on the frames presented in the teaser, it is evident that the upcoming content will feature a continuation of the A2 storyline, as well as delve into the past of Devola and Popola.
Within the preview, an individual of higher rank is observed reading a statement regarding the forthcoming phase of the war.
Observations reveal that there are instances where 9S and 2B engage in combat against machine lifeforms.
During the ongoing conflict between YohRa and Androids, there was a moment when Devola and Papola were observed to be in a precarious situation.
