Summer is a super fun season, mainly because it brings along vacations for everyone. Whether you’re a student, a professional, or a stay-at-home parent, pretty much everyone takes some time off in summer. Now, the thing is, not everyone travels around at this time. A lot of people simply stay at home and relax.

If you’re planning to take some time off this summer, stay at home, and relax as well, you’ve come to the right place. We’ve got a list of anime shows releasing in July to keep you busy and entertained. It’s going to be a treat for everyone that enjoys animated shows, so have a look:

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2

Needless to say, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most cherished anime, and Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 has been a highly anticipated release this year. Its season 2 was released a few days ago on July 6. Its first season was a massive hit and after a long wait, season 2 is finally here.

In the second season, this anime covers two important stories, the Shibuya Incident Arc and Gojo’s Past Arc, which makes it a crucial season of the series. The Jujutsu Kaisen fans can see Gojo’s past as well as everything there’s to see about the Shibuya Incident. It’s currently available to stream on Crunchyroll.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead

Another amazing anime that just launched a few days ago on July 9 is Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead. After The Highschool of the Dead, School-Live!, and Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, there weren’t many shows or movies in the anime industry regarding zombies. Fans of this genre were pretty disappointed; however, not anymore.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead has fulfilled the wishes of many by bringing a great depiction of zombies to the screen. It is a mix of horror and humor genres. It takes you into an alternative universe, making you shake in your boots, while you laugh at the funny dialogues here and there. It’s a story of a 24-year-old guy, Akira Tendou, who loses his spirit after working for a long time in the corporate world.

In the middle of sharing his feelings for a coworker and living a pretty dull life, he comes across a zombie apocalypse. Due to that, he’s forced to move to another place to save his life. However, amid all the chaos, he gets back the excitement he lacked in his life.

Rent-a-Girlfriend Season 3

Rent-a-Girlfriend is one of the most popular anime shows ever made. It gained popularity almost immediately after its release. Both seasons 1 and 2 are loved by its fans and according to the reports, season 3 is no different. Released on July 8, it brings along various twists and turns, leaving the fans more excited than ever.

It revolves around Kinoshita Kazuya, a hopeless college student who meets Mizuhara Chizuru, a glamorous rental girlfriend. As the show unfolds, Kinoshita introduces Mizuhara as his girlfriend to his friends and family. He ends up in a great mess though as his former rental girlfriends keep coming back and poking him, leaving him unable to tell the truth.

It’s available on Crunchyroll as well as BBC iplayer to stream. If you’re looking to watch a sneaky love story with actions and twists, it definitely needs to be on your bucket list. However, BBC iplayer is available for only a few countries, which presents a bit of a problem but you don’t have to worry. All you need to do is learn about the VPNs that work with BBC iPlayer, get one, and you’ll be good to go.

Baki Hanma Season 2

Baki Hanma season 1 was a great hit and since then, fans have been waiting for season 2 of the series. The good news is that it’s releasing on July 26, so the wait is almost over. If you haven’t seen the first season, it was about Baki Hanma, son of Yuujirou Hanma who was the strongest creature on the planet Earth. He gets himself locked up so that he can confront the strongest man in America. He faces an extremely difficult battle and emerges with victory.

In the second season, you will get to see a battle between Baki Hanma and his father, Yuujiro Hanma after he explores The Pickle War Saga. It’s been making the rounds that this season will be divided into two parts. The first part, The Take of the Pickle and Pickle War Saga, will be released on Netflix in the last week of July, while the second part, The Father vs. Son Saga, will be released in August.

What you need to remember here is that Netflix has different libraries for different countries, so in case you’re unable to find it on your Netflix account, you don’t have to worry. You need to do the same thing you’ll do with BBC iPlayer. Yes, stream the show using a VPN. It will change your location, helping you stream the show wherever you are without any geographical restrictions.

The Takeaway

Anime shows are super fun. They give you a great break from all those movies and shows with real-life characters. Also, their genres are different and storylines are unique. If you’re a fan of anime shows, you must have the shows mentioned above on your radar this July. We’re sure you’ll enjoy them.
