What is the synopsis of the Code Geass anime series?

The banished Prince then finds himself in a very tough spot between the rioter forces of Area 11 and the tyrants. Lelouch then promises his Japanese friend that he will fight for the freedom of Japan. In his journey to free Japan, he meets a mysterious girl named CC who granted him the mystical power of Geass.
When is Code Geass season 3 scheduled for release?
