The story follows a 20 year old hikikomori shut in who avoids the spotlight to be safe from bullying.
“Am I Actually the Strongest,” a novel by Sai Sumimori, was adapted into an anime during summer 2023. The plot follows a protagonist summoned by a goddess and reincarnated into a magic-filled, fantasy world.
He is born into a royal family as Reinhardt Orteus, the first prince of the kingdom however, he is abandoned by his parents due to his low level of magic.
Unfortunately, it’s later revealed that the measuring crystal could only track within two digits, and his level was not 02 but instead 1002.
The abandoned prince renames himself as Haruto and uses wide variety of barrier magic to protect himself in the wild.
Haruo encounters a beautiful Fenrir named Flay, who respects his massive power and submits her loyalty and service to him.
Hart’s life is full of excitement, including demon friendships, royal feuds, assassination plots, secret superhero identities, and a little sister named Charlotte. His distant relative Gold Zenfis wants to join the family, adding to the chaos.
Can the once shut-in turned abandoned prince overcome the challenges in his new life is central plot of the show.
Am I Actually the Strongest was received with mixed reviews however, fans who enjoyed the show are wondering if there will be a second installment or not.
