Does the Flame Hashira Rengoku Die in the Mugen train movie?

Eventually, the demon slayers managed to awake and defeated the Enmu. But during the fight, Tanjiro was injured, and Rengoku came to help Tanjiro.
Then suddenly there, another demon which was named Akaza, came to kill Tanjiro. Akaza was an upper three demon. Rengoku was fought against Akaza. When Akaza saw the fighting skill of Rengoku, he offered Rengoku to become a demon, but Rengoku denied the offer.During the fight, Rengoku lost his left eye. Flame Hashira Rengoku fought with Akaza until the sunrise. In the last, Akaza ran away from the battlefield, but unfortunately, Rengoku was heavily injured during the fight, and he lost his life.
Will Tanjiro become a new Flame Hashira?
The first meeting of Tanjiro with Rengoku was not well, but after spending some time with Tanjiro, ZRengoku started respecting Tanjiro. Rengoku gave Tanjiro advice on becoming stronger and accepted Tanjiro as his successor.
Many fans believe that after the death of Rengoko, Tanjiro will become flame Hashira and take Regoku’s place. the fact Tanjiro will become a Flame Hasira depends on Tanjiro’s original breathing style. Tanjiro’s breathing style is based on fire, and he uses “Dance of fire god”, a sun breathing style that is a source of origin of all others forms. Then Tanjiros’s breathing style is different from Rengoku’s breathing style, which means, Tanjiro will not become a new Flame Hashira.
