A popular American Sitcom released in the year 1994, Friends, was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman. The series includes six friends who meet each other in New York City and stay together through the ups and downs of their lives.

Characters in Friends include Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) and Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc).

Another popular American comedy series is The Office; it is more of a mockumentary sitcom which was created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The series was aired on NBC in the year 2005 included nine seasons completed by the year 2013. The series depicts the everyday working of office employees in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Both the hilarious series included various compatible relationships, which gave the audience a layer of heartwarming humour and emotion in the series. Both the series’ characters are given different personalities, and that makes them compatible with their partners in the shows. Phoebe Buffay is a weird character in Friends who is a self-taught musician and a masseuse and has a quirky personality. But it would be interesting if they both dated, as Andy won’t be scared by Janice’s bold nature, and Janice won’t be put off by Andy’s over-excitement. Chandler Bing, popularly known as the sarcasm king, is an executive in statistical analysis and data configuration, the job which no one can remember. And Pam can’t be remembered without Jim. If, hypothetically, Chandler and Pam would’ve met, Pam might like Chandler because of his humorous nature, as she liked Jim’s pranks in The Office. Chandler was always seeking a reaction for his jokes, and Pam and he could be a great match.

A fashion enthusiast, Rachel Green, leaves her previous life and come to live with Monica to start a new one. She became independent with her hard work and had a great interest in work focused on fashion. Jim Halpert is a sales representative and tries to make others, particularly Pam, laugh with his hilarious yet not harmful pranks.

Jim and Rachel have one common trait that they both are focused on their careers. If they were a couple, they would be able to share their ambitions and support each other along their journey. In both of the series, Rachel and Jim have proven themselves loyal to their partners, and their relationship would not be one-sided.

Joey and Karen enjoy their lives to the fullest, and one bonus is that they both enjoy video games. It is an absolute match as Joey loves food, and Karen is really particular about the chips from the vending machine.
