Ray is then called by name by a boy called Albert, who explains that only nobles and descendants of sorcerers are allowed to attend his school as it’s no place for ordinaries like Ray.
Rey states that there are many things he wants to learn from the academy, and Albert attempts to fight him however, their interaction is broken up by a girl named Amelia, a member of one of the top three noble families.
Albert refuses to accept Rey and leaves, but Amelia gladly introduces herself to our protagonist.
She points out how Rey is the first ordinary ever to attend the academy, and that means he must have impressed someone with his talent.
Ray quickly makes friends with some of the most influential students thanks to his kind and amiable nature.
Unfortunately, as those with nefarious motives begin to move, Ray may soon have to use his true power to preserve the bonds that make his new life worthwhile.

Hyouken No Majutsushi Ga Sekai Wo Suberu light novel is written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie. It began publication on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō on 25th October 2019.
The series was acquired by Kodansha on 2nd July and began publishing under their Ranbobe Bunko imprint.
As of writing, seven volumes of the light novel have been published, with the latest issue released on 28th December 2022.
Hyouken No Majutsushi Ga Sekai Wo Suberu manga is written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Norihito Sasaki. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app on 24th June 2020.
