My Academia Hero: How did All Might Physically Transform So Much?

All My Academia hero fans may know that All Might, the number one hero dropped from his position after he gave his one for all to Midoriya. he was severely wounded after the battle with all for one, which led all might to lose his former prowess. However, fans are shocked to see him back to his usual muscular self and wonder whether it is real.

How does all might transform?

Once all might mentioned in the series that he gains his muscular form as a result of flexing just like the guys at the pool. However, all might do not have the same muscular density and physique as before. Therefore he can’t transform anymore. This is the only possible explanation given his transformation.

Also, there is a fan theory that suggests all might was thin in the beginning, but after he received one for all, he worked out to build his body to be able to handle all of the one for all power and now that he has lost the one for all, he is back to being skinny.

Why have all might turned thin? 

According to the manga, all might was always thin. But after receiving the one for all, he worked and trained hard to become big enough to hold all the power. However, during his fight with all for one, his stomach collapsed, which led to his body shrinking. Therefore when the one for all beats him, and all might gives his powers to Deku, his body returns to its original state that is the thin all might. 

Which is all might’s original form?  

All might’s original form is completely different from his superhero form. The man is muscular and bulky in his superhero form, while he is extremely slim and angular in his true form. When all might returns to his usual form after losing the battle, the loss of the extreme muscle mask gives him an illusion of longer limbs.

He is abnormally slender because of the damage his body sustained from all for one. All might have to undergo several surgeries to heal from his injuries. Truth to be told, all might have always been skinny and only turned muscular and Buffy after he received the one for all to hold its full powers.

Can all might return to his muscular form?

Yes, all might can return to his muscular form if he wants to but for a very short period. The only way he can return to his strong and muscular form is by flexing his muscles only to give the citizens a ray of hope. 

Since he was once buffy, he can give an illusion of a muscular body by flexing his muscles but only for a while. He can’t hold it for much longer.

Can Eri heal or restore all might’s body?

Eri’s special power is that she can rewind things. However, Aizawa suggested that she can also rewind the body of all those who have lost their powers or quirk. Not only can she rewind their bodies, but she can also restore them.

Many my academia hero fans believe that Eri can heal and restore all might’s body only if she works hard enough to refine her work. However, we don’t know if she can do this or not. Because all might has not lost his power, he willingly gave them up to Deku. Therefore, he may never get his powers or body back.
