Netflix The Witcher: New Casts Update of Philippa Eilhart from Season 2
Audiences are expecting the next season of The Witcher, now in its final shooting stages at Arborfield Studios, with great interest. As production on Netflix’s The Witcher season 2 continues, the streaming channel has revealed new casting opportunities, including who else we can expect to see in the upcoming sequel. Netflix announced the new cast members on Twitter, including Dijkstra and Philippa Eilhart, who have reunited. According to the most recent Witcher-related tweet, the show’s second season will feature a number of different additions.

Philippa will exact her revenge in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt depending on whether or not the player completes a questline. She aids Geralt and the other sorceresses in their quest for Ciri and battle against Eredin and his Aen Elle abilities.
Philippa Eilhart’s announcement for the next season has piqued the interest of fans. She was King Vizimir’s assistant and a powerful sorceress with her polymorph power before his demise. She’s even thought to be a few generations old, allowing her even more time to hone her incredible strength.
Her storey arc has a lot of backstory, particularly when it comes to the Witch Hunts, so it’ll be fun to see if this show highlights who she is and where she fits into this setting.

The Witcher Season 2 is currently in development. The series was originally expected to wrap in February, but was delayed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and an on-set injury sustained by star Henry Cavill.
