SUICIDE SQUAD ANIME ANNOUNCED, AND RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED
On 1st December 2023, Warner Bros s’ official X account announced the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime and confirmed the Suicide Squad season 1 release date as mid-2024.
It was also revealed that Warner Bros, along with Wit Studio, will be developing the Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime.
In addition to the announcement, a short teaser trailer and key visual featuring the Suicide Squad characters was also shared.
Unfortunately, neither a precise release date nor episode count for season one was revealed by the creators.

SUICIDE SQUAD ISEKAI PLOT
The official plot of Suicide Squad ISEKAI is set in Gotham City, wherein criminals are in every nook and corner of the city.
The chief of ARGUS, Amanda Waller assembles a squad of criminals featuring Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Peacemaker, Clayface, and King Shark.
Unlike the movie counterparts, this band of supervillains is sent via a portal to an isekai world that is filled with magic, swords, orcs, and dragons in the sky.
With life-ending explosives planted in their necks, the team known as the Suicide Squad cannot escape unless the mission is complete.
Will the elite task force comprising of dangerous super villains conquer the isekai realm or meet their doom doing it is the central plot of the show.
The colorful trailer features The Joker asking Harley Quinn if she would like to go to another world.
Joker and Harley Quinn, along with the other Suicide Squad Members in their prison uniform, are transported into the isekai world.
Upon arrival, they fight magical beasts and orcs to maintain peace in this realm.

SUICIDE SQUAD CAST, CHARACTERS, AND CREW
Eri Osada has been appointed as the director of Suicide Squad Isekai, with Eiji Umehara and Tappei Nagatsuki serving as the series composers.
The characters for Suicide Squad Isekai have been designed by Naoto Hosoda, while the music for the series has been composed by Kenichiro Suehiro.
Tomoyasu Hotei will perform the opening theme song for the Suicide Squad Isekai anime, titled “Another World”.
Warner Bros. Japan will be at the helm of production, while animation will be produced by Wit Studio.
For non anime fans who are not familiar with Wit studio, popular titles like
Attack on Titans, Seraph of the End, Vinland Saga and Spy x Family have been produced by them.
