Breaking News – Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Laufeyson Will Returns In Doctor Strange 2

After the Disney plus Loki series finale, a report claims that Tom Hiddleston’s Loki Laufeyson, the God of Mischief(doctor strange 2), will return in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness. Doctor Strange 2, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, has been competing for head to head with Tom Holland’s Spiderman: No way home for the title of MCU’s most anticipated film.

Even though both the films are fighting for MCU’s most anticipated film title, very little is known about them except what we have picked up from the comments of those closely involved in both projects.

Elizabeth Olsen will be coming back as the Scarlet witch in Doctor Strange 2 after her mind-blowing performance in the Disney plus series WandaVision. However, her intentions towards the supreme sorcerer are still unknown. The Scarlet witch can either turn out to be a friend or foe to Doctor Strange.

The cast of Doctor Strange 2 well includes Benedict wrong as long, Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer coma and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo. Apart from these existing MCU characters, Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness will introduce a new character to the Marvel Universe. Xochitl Gomez will make her MCU debut by portraying America Chavez in the Doctor Strange sequel.

As for now, the plot of Doctor Strange is unknown for the most part. But WandaVision’s post-credit scene suggested that the doctor strange sequel may somehow involve Wanda’s children. Now the finale of the Loki series also gave some more hints regarding what’s to come in Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness.

Immediately after the anticipated finale of the Loki series, THR reports that the God of Mischief will be returning in Doctor Strange 2. Tom Hiddleston will be reprising his role as Loki Laufeyson for the Doctor Strange sequel. However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed Loki’s or any other Loki series’ members return in the sequel yet.

With the finale of the Loki series, it’s clear that Marvel has some big plans for the God of Mischief. His future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was confirmed with the announcement of Loki season 2 during the finale of the first season. 

Things took a surprising turn when Jonathan majors made a brief appearance in Loki after all. Although the actor denied the rumors of appearing as Kang the Conqueror, it seems there was some truth to what he said. Jonathan majors character in Loki, was never referred to as Kang the Conqueror; instead, he was called He Who Remains A Version Of The Time Hopping Villain.

The events of the finale of the Loki series resulted in the breaking of the sacred timeline creating the multiverse of madness, and this will likely be the entry point for Tom Hiddleston’s Loki into Doctor Strange 2. It’s not like we didn’t hear about the reports claiming that the series would lead directly into Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange sequel, but we never thought it would have this direct of a connection.

The finale of the Loki series also seems to suggest that Kang the Conqueror could be the titular villain of Doctor Strange in the multiverse of madness or at least make an appearance in the sequel. Loki’s finale clearly set the stage for Doctor Strange 2 and MCU’s future as well. Kang the Conqueror will certainly be a major villain in many upcoming projects, and it looks like Loki Laufeyson will have a huge part in these events.
