Venom 2: New Trailer Explains A Lot More About The Movie

Recently a new trailer for Venom 2 was released. In the upcoming venom sequel, Tom Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock, a journalist who becomes the host of an alien symbiote that transforms him into our beloved antihero. At the end of 2018’s Venom, the post-credits scene featured woody Harrelson’s, who will portray Cletus Kasidy.

In Marvel Comics, Cletus Kasidy is the alter ego of Venom’s big bad guy, Carnage. The post-credit scene of 2018’s Venom set the stage for Venom and Carnage’s rivalry in the upcoming Venom 2. After Sony released the sequel’s title, Venom: let there be Carnage, fans were assured they would be treated to an excellent fight.

Venom 2 will feature Harrelson’s Cletus Kasidy in a new look.

Unfortunately, after the title was announced, Sony had to postpone Venom 2 release date due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Now the movie is scheduled to hit the cinemas in September 2021. Some photos and videos from the set of venom 2 surfaced online featuring Harrelson’s Cletus Kasidy sporting a new hairstyle different from his Venom post-credits scene hairstyle.

The official trailer for Venom 2 revealed Carnage’s final look for the live-action movie. Also, the trailer did an excellent job of highlighting Eddie and Venom’s relationship. Now that the release date is coming closer for Venom 2, the production house has revealed another trailer for the film.

Sony unveiled a new trailer for Venom: let there be Carnage which featured the return of Eddie’s ex-girlfriend Anne Weying, played by Michelle Williams, and her new partner Dan Lewis played by Reid Scott.

Venom 2 is directed by Andy Serkis, who got in charge of the film when the first film director, Ruben Fleischer, didn’t return for the sequel. However, the Co-writer of the first film, Kelly Marcel, returned to jot down the script of venom 2.

Though the movie is scheduled to release on 24th September 2021, the trailer says it will hit the theatres in the fall. The trailer successfully shows more of Eddie and Venom’s equation. The pair will be seen working out their dynamics. Eddie urges Venom to be less antagonistic, while Venom wants Eddie to be more proactive.

 Harrelson’s Carnage equally shares the spotlight With Eddie and Venom’s duo. The newly released trailer explains Venom’s power and his origin. The upcoming sequel may also introduce a red symbiotic, while the first movie had black, silver, yellow, and blue.

Venom is potent, but Carnage is deadly with various spiky weapons. Even the transformation of both the duos is entirely different. The trailer also features villain Shriek from Marvel Comics. In the comics, shriek has a romantic relationship with Cletus, but their association in venom 2 is still unknown. The new Venom 2 trailers did a good job laying the groundwork for an epic fight between the two symbiotes.
