A Japanese manga series, Akame Ga Kill!, is written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro. It was published in Square Enix’s Gangan Joker in the year 2010. The popular manga was adapted into anime and released in Japan in 2014. The Studio which helped with the production is White Fox.
The fantastic action-shounen series, Akame Ga Kill, entails dark fantasy elements and revolves around a character named Tatsumi. Tatsumi is a young villager who became a teenage Ninja when he became aware of all the corruption happening in his area. A group of assassins called ‘Night Raiders’ hire young men to help save their whole Empire from getting corrupt. It is a story about a young, naïve boy who sets foot off from his capital to find a way to make more money, which will help his village that is poverty-stricken.
The first season of Akame Ga Kill was released in July 2014, which includes 24 episodes of action to fight off corruption, ending in December 2014 with its last episode. Apart from the anime adaptation of the manga series, there is not any movie or OVA episode of the same. The response from the viewers was amazing, as, since 2014, the fans have been expecting the next season, Akame Ga Kill Season 2, and now they are wondering will there ever going to be a Season 2?.

Written by Takahiro and illustrated by Tetsuya Tashiro, the Akame Ga Kill manga series include 15 volumes which started in January 2015 and ended in July 2018. Along with that, the series also has a prequel series named Akame Ga Kill Zero, which includes ten volumes.
Since the last, fifteenth volume of the Akame Ga Kill manga series, there hasn’t been another one yet, so it is to be believed that the story of Tatsumi is over and the manga series is finished.
The Akame Ga Kill Season 1 included the manga volumes from 1 to 7. Moreover, the anime adaptation and the manga story are a lot different, and the manga includes the original ending. For the next season, Akame Ga Kill Season 2, there is a lot of content of manga available, as when it is officially confirmed, it will pick up from volume 8 and might cover till the end, volume 15 of the manga series.

The reason why Akame Ga Kill Season 2 won’t be happening is that Season 1 didn’t make as much money as expected, and for the next one to be released, the decision depends upon the last season’s profit. Another reason is that the anime series, season 1, had an original ending, which hints that they had never decided to go with the next one.
