The plot follows Komichi Akebi, who is obsessed with sailor-style uniforms. When she gets accepted to the Roubai Elite all-girl academy, she eventually gets her mother to make a replica of the uniform for her first day.
On her first day, Akebi is surprised to learn the Roubai s’ dress code has changed as no one uses the old sailor uniforms, and blazers have replaced it.
Despite standing out from everyone, Akebi is allowed to continue with her attire by the school s’ principal, which makes her the only one to wear the original uniform.
Akebi is unsure about being the odd one out and contemplates switching to the present blazer uniform. Her younger sister Kao reassures Akebi to keep wearing the sailor uniform as there is nothing to be ashamed about.
With renewed confidence, Akebi continues with her outfit and makes friends who share unusual habits.

While the reviews and ratings are in favour, a crucial factor for renewal will be the availability of studio and source material.
Currently, studio CloverWorks has a stacked production schedule with four new projects slated for future release.
As it is, studio CloverWorks have been in controversies for overworking employees and producing half bake series, so it is unlikely that the studio will renew for a sequel anytime soon.
The good news is there is sufficient source material, as seven volumes are available for Akebi’s Sailor Uniform Season 2.

AKEBI’S SAILOR UNIFORM SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Akebi’s Sailor Uniform season one, “I ‘m Not Alone,” Before everybody in the school, Akebi plays out an interpretive dance during the festival.
Moving to a Miki tune played on the piano by Kizaki, every one of her classmates from beneath notices that her dance moves looks like her cheering moves during the festival. As an individual from the cheer crew, assisting them with performing great with her support.
Hiraiwa remembers how Akebi cheered for them despite poor performance in a badminton match.
