Ningen Fushin Season 2, renewal status explored
As the winter 2023 season comes to an end, numerous series are in contention for a renewal.
Amidst many such series is the anime adaption by studio Geek Toys of Shinta Fuji s’ light novel series, Ningen Fushin.
The story follows Veteran adventurer Nick, mage Tiana, cleric Zem, and half-dragon Curran, who all show up at a tavern and end up sitting at the same table.
Each of them is disillusioned by something, and as the night goes on, they share their grievances with one another.
Tiana is a magical genius abandoned by her envious life partner, causing her to become a betting junkie, ultimately making her an unsuitable adventure teammate.
Zem used to be a Healer Priest until he dismissed the advances of a youthful town young lady. Rankled, she blamed him for assault, prompting his removal from the brotherhood.
Curran merely explains someone she trusted stole something from her.
Nick is unexpectedly kicked from his group by his guide Argus and to make matters worse, his better half Claudine dumps him.
Apart from having a troubled past, none of them have any funds either, which turns into one of the main reasons they decide to become a party.
The idea is to rank up and earn as much money as possible to fulfill their respective hobbies.
However, what these delusional adventurers do not know is that they will be responsible for saving the world from impending imperil.
Ningen Fushin Season One was received with mostly poor reviews, despite which fans who did enjoy the show are wondering if there will be a second installment or not.

WHAT IS THE NINGEN FUSHIN SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE?
Ningen Fushin season one aired from 10th January 2023 to 28th March 2023 for 12 episodes.
As of writing, there is no update from studio Geek Toys on the renewal of Ningen Fushin Season 2.
|Ningen Fushin Season 1||10th January 2023|
|Ningen Fushin Season 2||Yet to be Announced|
Production Studios consider various financial and commercial metrics before announcing a renewal.
As mentioned earlier, Ningen Fushin season one was extremely underwhelming, as many fans complained about its poor pacing, unnatural plot progression, and lackluster characters.
The reviews only back up the sorry state of its IMDB user episode ratings, which indicates how the series fails to capture fan interest.
|Ningen Fushin Episode 1||7.6|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 2||7.1|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 3||7.2|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 4||6.4|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 5||6.3|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 6||5.7|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 7||5.6|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 8||5.7|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 9||6.1|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 10||5.9|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 11||5.4|
|Ningen Fushin Episode 12||6.4|
Even if the reviews and ratings get a pass, a crucial factor for renewal will be the availability of studio and source material.
Studio Geek Toys is a relatively new production house, and the release schedule looks stacked, with four new projects slated for their premier in 2023.
Furthermore, Ningen Fushin Season One adapted three of the available five volumes, leaving behind just two volumes for Ningen Fushin Season 2 which won’t be enough for a 13-episode season.
Hence, looking at the reviews, ratings, studio, and source material availability, it looks highly unlikely that Ningen Fushin will be renewed for a second season.
Although if the studio does take a chance and does go forth with renewal, we can expect some updates on Ningen Fushin Season 2 trailer and Ningen Fushin Season 2 release date by the summer of 2024.

NINGEN FUSHIN SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of “Adventurers Can’t Save the World Yet!”, After defeating Stepping Man, the Survivors all enter a state of depression. Nick remembers meeting Argus, who saved him from the bandit that murdered his parents. Zem takes over Nalgava’s clinic in the slums. Tianna returns to gambling but no longer enjoys it. When the Survivors meet, there is uncertainty over what to do next. Curran begins brooding over Kalios and wonders if she should forget about him and move on.
Olivia uncovers evidence the Dark Demon God will soon return, with White Mask somehow involved. She is also investigating the black market that sold Nalgava the Illusion King Gem. Curran takes an interest in the market as it may be where Kalios sold her Dragon King Gem.
The Survivors promise if she ever wants to find her Gem, they will help. Suddenly inspired, the Survivors uncover the conspiracy, expose White Mask, and stop the Dark Demon God’s return.
Curran gains an admirer, a Cat-girl she saved from the swindling merchant from whom Kalios once saved her.
Kizuna and Olivia, both immortal artifacts which will long outlive the Survivors, agree the Survivors have the potential to defeat the Dark Demon God but still have a long way to go.
Ningen Fushin Season One covered the first three volumes of the light novel, which means Ningen Fushin Season 2 will begin by adapting Volume 4.
