The Blue Exorcist anime series entails supernatural elements and demons. Its narrative revolves around Rin Okumura, who appears to be an ordinary teenager. The anime adaptation entails two worlds, Humans and Demons, which are two sides of a coin. The Human world is known as ‘Assiah’ and the Demon world as ‘Gehenna’.
It has been explained in the starting that the only way to travel between these two realms is through possession, where Satan, the ruler of the demon world, couldn’t find a host to possess. Satan wishes to conquer Assiah, for which he sends his son, who will eventually grow into a vessel for Satan to possess.
The main character, Rin Okumura, one day got ambushed by some demons, and his world turned upside down when he got aware of the fact that he is Satan’s son. The demons tell Rin that his father would like his return so that he can conquer the world of humans. But the son, Rin Okumura, doesn’t want ‘Assiah’ to be in the hands of a Demon King. Rin Okumura then starts his training to become an Exorcist for the only purpose of saving Assiah with his brother Yukio.
