What are the pictures floating around on social media about Stranger Things 4?
There were multiple other deaths in Season 4 caused by Vecna. The MO of Vecna is snapping his victim’s bones snapped, then their eyes are gouged out, and hence when old pictures of Sadie Sink on the set of Fear Street started to circulate, fans were deeply concerned that Max Mayfield would be killed off on the show.
A Twitter account with the name @StrangerNews11 shared some pictures on their social media handle showing Sink that was misinterpreted to believe that her future with Stranger Things was in danger. The two images on the left show two behind-the-scenes images from Stranger Things season 4. On the other hand, the two right images are behind the scenes from Fear Street Part 3: 1666.
The pictures from Fear Street are incredibly similar to those from Stranger Things. It made fans believe that something terrible is fated for Max, and she might fall prey to Vecna like his other victims. It led fans to believe that Max could be one of the ‘casualties’ on Stranger Things 4. However, the images do not have anything in common apart from the actress. Hence they are unrelated to Stranger Things.
As for Fear Street, it made enormous profits for Netflix last year with its three-part release, making a huge fan base and touching multiple subgenres of horror. The movie series has Sink as Ziggy Berman and another Stranger Things actress, Maya Hawke, as a cameo.
Stranger Things 4, Volume 2, is just three days away from release! Fans have been sitting on the edge of their seats to watch this season’s showdown. This excitement has made the audience hungry for all sorts of Stranger Things spoilers and giveaways.
It might be why misinformation started to trend amongst fans so much in less time. But this is no indication of whether or not Max Mayfield will survive the grasp of Vecna’s curse in the second volume.
As established, the pictures are not from Stranger Things and do not provide any spoiler to the coming story. But with the official teasers and trailers, one thing is sure, no one in Hawkins is safe, and Max Mayfield facing Vecna once again is a sure thing. Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” will be able to save her or not; only time will tell.
