The story follows Himuro, who is a descendant of Yuki-Onna, and as a result, whenever he concentrates, is stressed, or flustered, he involuntarily creates a snowstorm.
On his first day at his new job, Himuro meets the pretty Fuyutsuki, who is notable for her cool personality. She finds Himuro s’ feet are frozen as he is nervous about starting a new job.
Coincidentally, Fuyutsuki is also hired by the same company and is Himuro s’ co-worker. While working, Fuyutsuki offers practical and rational solutions to Himuro s’ icy problems, which include taking care of plants and how to be around cats.
Seeing Fuyutsuki s’ kindness, Himuro instantly falls in love with her and causes a snowstorm at the office. While Himuro s’ feelings are apparent, Fuyutsuki seems oblivious to them and overall unfamiliar with love.
How Himuro repays Fuyutsuki s’ goodwill and takes a step forward from the frozen place as love rages inside him is the central plot of the show.
Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague Season one was a relative success as fans enjoyed using ancestral spirit as a premise coupled with heart-warming moments between Himuro and Fuyutsuki.

While the reviews and ratings may be in favour of a sequel, a crucial factor will be the availability of the studio.
Currently, Studio Zero-G has completed the broadcast of two series and is yet to announce any future projects.
It is also worth noting that Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague season one was co-produced by studio Liber which also incidentally is their first major production. So, they will be looking to build on the first season s’ success with a sequel.

Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague manga is written and illustrated by Miyuki Tonogaya. It began serialization on Square Enix’s Gangan Pixiv manga website on 12th July 2019.
The manga has been collected into seven volumes, with the latest issue released on 21st December 2022.
In the 2019 Next Manga Award, the series ranked 12th in the web manga category.
As of December 2022, Koori Zokusei Danshi to Cool na Douryou Joshi manga has sold 650,000 copies for volumes 1-7.

ICE GUY AND THE COOL FEMALE COLLEAGUE SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague Season one, “Their Night Together and the Morning Spring Came,” Himuro and Fuyutsuki are on a business trip which includes a hotel room and dinner.
After completing the work, Himuro is tired and sneezes, which causes him to melt into a child form. Fuyutsuki notices that he has a fever and should cancel dinner plans.
She also books a single room to take care of Himuro, who has been overworked into illness. In the room, Himuro inadvertently collapses on Fuyutsuki as they share a moment, but it’s cut short by the boss s’ phone call.
Fuyutsuki completes the remaining documentation work as Himuro dozes off while returning to his normal size.
Himuro wakes up and finds Fuyutsuki sleeping which guilts him into work till morning. As the pair return from their trip, they pass by the street where they first met over a year ago.
Both express gratitude for their meeting and reminisce about the happier times they spent together.
The episode ends with a cherry blossom viewing party with their friends to welcome them home.
Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague Season one covered 40 chapters and three volumes from the manga, which means Ice Guy and the Cool Female Colleague Season 2 will begin by adapting chapter 41.
