Netflix Shares 26 New Images of The Witcher Season 2, before release date
The Witcher Season 2 release date is December 17, 2021, less than a week is left before Netflix shares a few images from the show.

The delay between The Witcher Season 1 and The Witcher Season 2 is because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The production of The Witcher took a halt in March 2020 and resumed back in August 2020. The fan was sad about the gap; however, the sadness is balanced with the Season 2 release.
In this series, the popularly known character, the front and center of the show, Geralt of Rivia is played by Henry Cavill. Henry Cavill, Witcher, has committed himself to this series, and he mentioned he was already a fan of Sapkowski’s Books and is living his dream at act this role.
The Witcher is a legendary tale of relationships and destiny. The character, Geralt of Rivia, is a Witcher, monster-hunter who hunts monsters for money. He struggles to find his spot in a world full of wicked people while doing his professional work. However, his destiny rushes him towards a commanding sorceress. The high-powered wizard is a young princess with a vicious secret.
Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, creator of The Witcher, the season 2 will pick up from the season 2 finale, where Geralt and Ciri finally meet. The Witcher Season 2 starts with Geralt and Ciri searching for their third member, Yennefer, after the Battle of Sodden Hill.
When coming to the senses about his formal flame being expired, Geralt takes princess Ciri with him to one of the safest and secure places he knows – Kaer Morhen, which was depicted as his childhood home and training ground for all the Witchers.
In Kaer Morhen, Geralt trains Ciri to be the Witcher like others. Their father-daughter relationship is going to build up in the Witcher Season 2. The fans have been patient so far to witness the encounter of Ciri and Geralt and wait for the surprising adventure they both will be put on.

The release of brand new images includes the characters Geralt of Rivia (Henry Cavill), Anya Chalotra (Yennefer), and Freya Allan (Ciri). The images incorporate the first and foremost look of Graham McTavish as Dijkstra.
The Head of Redanian Intelligence
The first look reveals Sigismund Dijksta, in the upcoming Season 2 is played by Graham McTavish. The fans of Graham know him from The Hobbit, Outlander, and The House of the Dragon. His looks are impressive, a tall yet bald man with a somewhat observable stomach. The character is exceptionally wicked and known to be highly influential in Redania.
Lead Trio – Family of Three
Netflix releases some of the images of the Leading Trio of Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri. In the Season 2, Henry Cavill well known for his role of Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra will be playing Yennefer, and Freya Allan acting the character of Ciri.
