Nijiyon Animation Season 2 Renewal status + Release Date Predictions

Nijiyon Animation Season 2, renewed or cancelled?

Music is a popular genre in anime, with series like Your Lie in April, Given, and Nana finding massive success within the fandom.

The rise of artists and performers has only seen this genre grow from strength to strength.

While artists and performers are usually associated with solo acts, the real fun lies in musical groups, and idol clubs are formed.

High school idol clubs are an interesting premise for anime wherein a group of people form a band or club and perform musical numbers.

The latest anime adaption of Miyakohito s’ spin-off manga series Nijiyon: Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Dōkōkai Yon-Koma, titled Nijiyon Animation also based on the same premise.

The Short anime is based on the 4-Koma series, depicting the daily lives of the members of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Nijiyon Animation season one has been well received by the fans who enjoyed the original series Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Like any popular anime series, Nijiyon Animation has already gathered support to get a second season, but will it happen?

Production studios consider various financial and commercial metrics before announcing a renewal.

Nijiyon Animation is, of course, a spin off of the original series Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Fans who enjoyed the main plot of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club would most likely be interested in the characters’ day-to-day activities.

Although official confirmation is yet to come, the staff for Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club project revealed on Saturday that the Blu-ray Disc for Nijiyon Animation would include new anime.

The Blu-ray Disc box will ship on March 29 and include all 12 episodes of Nijiyon Animation, plus unaired episodes 13-15.

Clearly, there is an effort being put in by the creators to make Nijiyon Animation popular as the original series, which could eventually be translated into a renewal by the end of season one.

All in All, if studio Bandai Namco Filmworks does revisit the series for a sequel, we can expect Nijiyon Animation Season 2 trailer and Nijiyon Animation Season 2 release date by the end of 2023.

An official plot for Nijiyon Animation Season 2 is yet to be revealed by the creators, but we can expect the development of characters to continue.

The daily lives of the members of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club have been fun to watch, with multiple whole bunch of things happening in the first season.

Yu starts filming her fellow club members because she wants to show their fans what they do besides being school idols. Meanwhile, Lanzhu and Ai have a cuteness contest.

Mia has a nightmare, and Karin tells Shioriko how she became interested in being a model. Mia also compliments Emma on her singing as we see Rina has made a mobile game named “Rina-chan Runs,” and she wants her friends to play test it.

The members of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club also play a card game with a specific spotlight on Lanzhu and Joker.

The members include sophomore Yu Takashi, who is the founder of the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club.

Ayumu Uehara is the childhood friend of Yu and is content with living an everyday school life. Despite not being able to sing or dance, Ayumu would nevertheless venture on to become a school idol herself.

Kasumi Nakasu is a first-year student who has always dreamt about becoming an idol and believes the club is determined to keep her dream alive.

Shizuku Osaka is another first-year student who, albeit timid and unassuming, is a level-headed group member.

Karin Asaka is a third-year student who joined the group to boost her self-confidence. She is often considered as the beauty of the group who, despite her adult looks, is quite reserved and shy.

Ai Miyashita is a second-year student who works with the Famitsu app along with Ayumu and Rina. She is a friendly and sociable person who’s always willing to help and very open about how much she cares about their feelings.

Kanata Konoe is a third-year student who is fondly called the sleeping beauty as she has the uncanny ability to somehow relax anybody in her presence.

Setsuna Yuki is a second-year student who is easily excitable and energetic. She takes her passions very seriously, and with regard to being a school idol, she always wants to improve.

Emma Verde is a third-year student who hails from Switzerland. She is an easygoing girl with a dream of becoming a school idol.
