OSAMAKE SEASON 2 PLOT
The final episode of Osamake season one, “Childhood Girlfriend,” had quite the twist compared to the show’s premise. In the beginning, Maru never had a girlfriend, but by season end, he had three girls dying for his love.
Momosaka still lays claims on Maru, who is reminiscing old memories with his childhood friend Shida at an old hiding spot. She confesses her love for a second time as Maru struggles to reply due to his lingering feelings for Kachi and Momosaka.
Shida realizes s’ Maru s’ internal struggle and breaks the ice by proposing to him to be his ‘childhood girlfriend.’ She tells Maru that they will always remain close and keep an open mind about their feelings.
The episode ends with the news reaching Maru that a new fan club has been started in his name. He resents it immediately as the girls stop them from getting in their way.
Osamake season 2 will start by adapting the fifth volume of the light novel. According to Yen press, the synopsis of it reads:
“A Sueharu Maru fan club is formed. Are the heroines the 5th joint front? Sueharu Maru fan club bombing!? Oh, I had such a hidden fan…! Cute girls are rushing in– This is the daily life of the Harlem hero! If you think about it, Kuroha is the strongest childhood friend, and Shirokusa and Maria are high-spec girls that everyone envy. I’m happy just to get along with these three people… But! Fan club girls may let you do something.”
While the official plot isn’t out yet, we can see Maru will face even more frantic situations in the second season. He has already bashed the Fan club, which looks to be an important part of the plot.
Finally, who will Maru choose as his true love, or will more girls be involved? We have to wait for Osamake season 2 to get the answers.
