Spider Man No Way Home Trailers Give Spoilers About Maguire’s Return
In the upcoming Spiderman movie, Parker reaches out to Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, to get back his obscurity. Strange’s offers to cast a spell that will make everyone forget that Peter Parker is the web-slinger superhero. However, things take a wrong turn. By mistakenly, Parker make changes to Doctor Strange’s spell while the wizard is casting it. The interferences launch the Multiverse. This is the reason why villains from previous Spider-Man films are returning to attack the MCU.
Tobey Maguire portrayed Peter Parker in Spider-Man films in the 2000s, directed by Sam Raimi. Several actors have portrayed Spiderman since then, but Maguire was the first to play the role of a big-budgeted Marvel studio film. He acted in three Spider-Man movies, with his last web-slinger movie being 2007’s Spider-Man 3. Since then, many actors have portrayed the web-slinging superhero, but many fans see Maguire’s Spiderman as the explicit Spider-Man performance. Given his past connections with the character, Maguire’s been expected to return as Spider-Man at some point in the MCU.
Despite his absence in the first No Way Home teaser, one detail may give away Tobey Maguire’s involvement in the movie. In No Way Home, Holland will stand against scoundrels from past Spider-Man films, and one of those villains is Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred Molina from Spider-Man 2.
Tom Holland’s Outfit Looks Similar To Tobey Maguire

Upon seeing him, Holland takes a fighting stance in response and quickly suits up. Some of you may have noticed that before the costume change, he was sporting a jacket and tie that strongly matched Maguire’s outfit in Spider-Man 3.

The similar outfit is likely Marvel’s way of teasing the audience about Maguire’s return.
