Well, that is not the case in this world as Majors use what is known as CAD, otherwise known as casting assistant device, which is essentially a technological device that allows the user to cast magic with ease and speed as it provides the activation sequence needed.
The story mainly centers around two siblings, older brother Tatsuya Shiba and younger sist Miyuki Shiba, who have just recently enrolled in the National Magic University’s first affiliated high school, or simply first High School.
In this Magic High School, students are divided into two categories depending on their entrance exam scores. The first is Course One students, also known as Blooms, who are the top 50% of students who enter the school, while the remaining 50% are Course Two, also known as Weeds.
There is a general notion that Course One student are superior in every way to Course Two students as they have higher magic capabilities and test scores.
Course One students also get access to private magic lessons and professors, whereas course Two does not. Miyuki is a child prodigy placed in the first course, while Tatsuya is enrolled in the second.
Despite Tatsuya’s stoic and reserved nature, he possesses’ extraordinary magical intelligence, which makes him an irregular in the second course. Irregular at magic high school has had a mixed reception, with some fans finding the sibling relationship uncomfortable while others enjoyed the plotlines.

WHAT IS THE IRREGULAR AT MAGIC HIGH SCHOOL SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE?
The first season of the Irregular at Magic High School aired from 6th April 2014 till 28th September 2014 for 26 episodes. The second season ran from 4th October 2020 to 27th December 2020 for 13 episodes.
A special titled “The Irregular at Magic High School: Reminiscence Arc” was released on 31st December 2021.
According to the official website, Irregular at Magic High School has been renewed for a third season and teaser was also released. THE IRREGULAR AT MAGIC HIGH SCHOOL SEASON 3 PLOT
In the final episode of The Irregular at Magic High School season 2, “Visitor Arc XII, the advancement of Humanity front threatens to blow the tower in an hour, but many around it’s a veiled attempt, and nothing would happen.
Tatsuya finds out that a pillar can be fixed but has to be done to bear the weight of those fighting. To accomplish this, he must cast the regrowth spell, even if it means handling a large amount of data simultaneously.
On the hand, Minami is drained out, and Tatsuya is forced to decide whether to save Miyuki or risk it all.
Tatsuya casts the regrowth spell and manages to bring back the tower, thus saving everyone from the collapse.
Now, Tatsuya is drained out but assures he is fine while Hayama tells
Maya about his feat.
The following day, Tatsuya meets Miyuki but sees Minami, who hands over a letter to him stating she will be living with him and Miyuki from now on.
The first two seasons adapted the 11 volumes of the light novel, and The Irregular at Magic High School Season 3 will most likely cover volumes 12 to 16.

The third season will start with the Double Seven arc, where we will see Tatsuya and Miyuki in their second year, wherein a new student Takumi Shippou will be repulsive against them.
The Saegusa clan and Gongjin will target the First High to denounce the magicians in Japan. The Yotsuba Clan head will also be decided, which will create more problems for Miyuki, who, if selected, would not be able to marry Tatsuya.
Finally, the major reveal comes in the new year, 2096, when Maya tells Tatsuya that Miyuki isn’t her sister.
