Thor 4: New set photos shows Thor’s impressive physique and Taika Waititi’s Korg
To celebrate Thor 4 wrapping up the shooting, a new photo from the sets of Thor 4 was revealed. The fresh image featured Thor aka Chris Hemsworth showing off his impressive muscles and Taika Waititi as Korg on the sets of Thor 4. The image confirmed that our beloved God of Thunder will be back in shape, even better than before.

After watching the fat Thor in Avengers: Endgame, fans were wondering if that Thor will make an appearance in Thor: Love and Thunder as well. However, their doubts were cleared with the new set of photos. Looks like the chubby Thor was just temporary, as the Thor star is back to his godly physique for what is supposed to be one of the biggest movies of Marvel Phase 4.
Followed by the success of Thor: Ragnarok, Thor 4 will bring back all-rounder – director, actor and writer, Taika Waititi and Chris Hemsworth one more time. Although the movie is a standalone film of the Thor franchise, it is also a huge chorus film featuring other major characters including Jane foster, Valkyrie, Guardians of the Galaxy, Krog and Gorr the God Butcher.
The production took place in Australia for the past several months and most of the images from the set revealed Thor’s new look and his massive physique. Fans are happy to find out that the old Thor with his big muscles and godly physique will be back for Thor 4.
Chris Hemsworth celebrates the end of filming with a post on his official Instagram
The new image was posted by Chris Hemsworth on his official Instagram account to celebrate the end of principle photography on Thor 4. The black and white photo featured Chris Hemsworth and Taika Waititi on the sets of Thor 4. Chris was seen showing off his huge biceps in a tank top, while Taika was wearing his mo-cap costume to portray the fan favourite rock warrior Korg.
In the caption, Hemsworth wrote that it’s a wrap for Thor 4 and joked that it’s national don’t flex day that’s why he thought this super relaxed photo (in which he is clearly showing off his bulging biceps) was appropriate. Also, he said that the movie is going to be full-on crazy, funny and might pull a heartstring or two. At the end of his caption, he thanks all the cast and crew for making this an incredible journey and sends his love to fans and assured them he will be seeing them in cinemas soon.
After sporting a fat suit for the majority of Avengers: Endgame, it seems that Chris Hemsworth is happy to grab the opportunity to showcase his godly physique one more time in Thor 4. From what we have gathered, it appears that the movie is going to give him numerous different outfits in which he can flaunt his, body transformation.
Coupled with his last appearance as the fat Thor in the Endgame and recent photos from the sets of Thor 4 which features Thor working out wearing a headband, it won’t be too shocking if Thor 4 includes a fun 80s style training sequence to show how the chunky Thor transformed into this big-bicep Thor.
Thor 4 set picture features Taika Waititi aka Korg in his attire for the role
Though the new image not only just teases Thor’s new hot look for Thor 4, it also shows Taika Waititi’s attire for his role as Korg which is quite interesting as well. In Thor: Ragnarok, the talented all-rounder wore a traditional mo-cap costume. However, this time he was seen wearing a shirt with Korg’s rock logo on it and on top of it he wore an armour.
Well, it could be the director fooling around on the sets since Korg will be a CGI character one more time. Yet, it could be a replica of how the friendly rock warrior may appear in the film. If that’s the case, then the fur collar and armour will be a great addition to Korg’s look.
Since the movie has wrapped up filming, the movie’s marketing campaign will start soon and fans will most probably get to see more of their favourite characters and the first look at many of the major characters of the film.
Release date of Thor: Love and Thunder
With the production wrapped up, the movie is all set to hit the cinemas on 6th May 2022. The movie is going to be a fun and crazy ride and as the name suggests, Thor: Love and Thunder will make you want to fall in love too.
