Spider-Man: No Way Home took over from the point when the whole world was aware of Peter Parker being the Spider-Man and a murderer of Mysterio, another villain who showed himself as a hero in front of the whole world. Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, who lives in New York, and casts a spell to solve Peter’s problems. But the spell goes wrong, and supervillains from different universes enter Tom Holland’s universe.

A big historical event in MCU happens when along with supervillains Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield, Spider-Man enters Tom Holland’s universe to help him. In the end, Tom Holland succeeds in curing all the supervillains, and Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield get ready to go back to their universes with the cured supervillains.

Apart from Kevin Fiege’s (Marvel Boss) and Amy Pascal’s (Sony) comments, Tom Holland has started sharing the things happening behind the scenes for the Spider-Man future in MCU. A new interview of Tom Holland happened with EW, where Holland clarified that nothing but conversations has been going on so far regarding Spider-Man 4 movie.

The conversation, which Holland stated, included phases, and he mentioned that no script had been written yet and no formal commitment has been made for Spider-Man 4. With no base for anything, but conversation, deciding Spider-Man 4 release date and Spider-Man 4 cast is a very long way to go.

Tom Holland said, “We’ve had conversations about the potential future of Spider-Man, but at the moment, they are conversations. We don’t know what the future looks like.”

There had been no commitment whatsoever, or no contract has been signed with Tom Holland for Spider-Man 4, so the future is unclear. According to Holland’s comments, it is becoming more obvious that Tom Holland Spider-Man 4 has barely started.

With the last game-changing release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sony, and Marvel would need to find an incredible story worthy of following up the events of No Way Home. At the end of No Way Home, it was shown that Tom Holland, as Peter was alone in his life as he didn’t try to make his friends remember himself and no one expect him knows about Spider-Man, the creative team should take enough time to make the next one amazing.

It is noteworthy that even if they finalize everything for the Spider-Man 4, it will take a few years before the release. As Marvel Studios dives further into the multiverse, there are many previously announced projects that will be released before Spider-Man 4. Some of these projects are Blade, Captain America 4, Fantastic Four, and Shang-Chi 2. But the fans would love to see Tom Holland in Spider-Man 4, as he is the one who debuted in MCU as Spider-Man.
