Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy season 2, why the delay?
Isekai is one of the most popular genres in anime as it explores stories that escape from mundane life to grapple with the fear of what is after death.
Each year numerous isekais are released, and Summer 2021 was no different as the anime adaption of Kei Azumi s’ light novel series, Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy hit the small screens.
The story follows Makoto Misumi, an average high school student, and archery club member who gets summoned by the god Tsukuyomi and is transported to another world.
Tsukuyomi explains to Makoto that his parents were from another world who made a deal with the goddess world wherein they would send one of their children to the Goddess s’ world as a hero.
However, the deity finds Makoto hideous and disdainfully grants him the ability to understand all languages except for his kind. He is also sent off to a remote wasteland without a human in sight.
Because of the divergence between Earth and this new world, Makoto’s innate physical and supernatural capacities stir, making him incredibly strong.
He meets different demi-humans and legendary creatures who all turn out to be dazzled by his qualities and join Makoto in building another local area where every one of them can calmly coincide.
Despite this achievement, Makoto longs to meet fellow humans. Still, in reality, it depends on Makoto and his allies to satisfy his longing while changing society en route.
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season One was a relative success as the majority of the fans enjoyed the isekai despite its cliched tropes.
Post the conclusion of season one, studio C2C renewed for season two; however, it has been over a year since the announcement, and the sequel is yet to premiere.

WHAT IS THE TSUKIMICHI MOONLIT FANTASY SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE?
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season One aired from 7th July 2021 to 22nd September 2021 for 12 episodes.
Following the finale of season one, the anime s’ official website announced the renewal of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 with a promotional video and visual.
As of writing, there is no update from studio C2C on Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 release date.

Although the anime was renewed promptly after the first season, fans have been long wondering why a premiere date has not been announced till now.
The primary reason, which seems apparent, is the busy production schedule of the studio and the limited available staff to work on multiple series simultaneously.
Studio C2C produced animes like Handyman Saitō in Another World and Reincarnated as a Sword after Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy which has also done well.
Furthermore, there are currently two new animes (Otaku Elf and Shangri-La Frontier) scheduled to release on 8th April and October 2023, respectively, which should rule out this year completely.
At best, we can expect Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 release date somewhere around Summer 2024.

TSUKI GA MICHIBIKU ISEKAI DOUCHUU MANGA AND LIGHT NOVEL CATCHUP
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy manga is written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Kotora Kino. It began serialization on the AlphaPolis website in 2015, and the manga has been collected into 11 volumes, with the latest issue released on 31st October 2022.

Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy light novel is written by Kei Azumi and illustrated by Mitsuaki Matsumoto.
It began serialization online in 2012 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō and later moved to the AlphaPolis website in 2016.
The light novel has been published in 18 volumes, with the latest issue released on 5th August 2022.

TSUKIMICHI MOONLIT FANTASY SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 1, “Guided by the Moon,” two demon warriors named Sofia and Mitsurugi attack Makoto, who reveal their intentions of destroying humanity.
Makoto takes off his mana-limiting equipment, which allows him to break Sofia s’ sword and beat Mitsurugi. He teleports away as the demon warriors swear revenge.
Shiki presumes the Goddess used Makoto to obliterate the army, while Tomoe reveals that she created Komoe using Makoto s’ mana.
The village throws a feast to celebrate Makoto’s shop, and he decides his future looks bright, but the celebration is interrupted by another fight between Mio and Tomoe, causing Makoto to change his mind that his immediate future is quite annoying.
Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season One is covered till Volume 4 of the light novel, which means Tsukimichi Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 will begin by adapting Volume 5.
Makoto, Mio, and Tomoe reach the Rotsguard Academy, wherein Makoto hopes to enroll as a student.
In a comical turn of events, Makoto, instead of taking the student entrance exam, accidentally ends up taking the teacher employment exam!
He complies with the situation and decides to work as a teacher in addition to his main business as a merchant.
Initially, Makoto is unpopular among the students, but when he takes lectures on battling experiences, his popularity begins to grow.
Tsuki ga Michibiku Isekai Douchuu Season 2 characters will see the introduction of Rembrandt’s daughters, Sif and Yuno, who were both saved by Makoto.
When he becomes their teacher, it becomes readily apparent they have the hots for Sensei.
