Yelena Attack on Titan: Where is Yelena AOT Antagonist?
The finale of Attack on Titan was quite interesting as it was well approved(Yelena AOT) by many fans but brutally criticised by others. Among all the reasons, why some fans didn’t like the end, was that there were many loose ends in the plot and there was no convincing explanation for that which made the readers upset. One of the major unanswered questions was that where is Yelena Attack on Titan major villains? Is Yelena AOT dead or alive?
What happened to Yelena AOT at the end?
One of the greatest plot holes were left by the 139th chapter of the manga and it has to do with Yelena, Zeke Jaeger’s stalwart. She’s also the leader of the Anti – Marleyan Volunteers. A group that comprises people of diverse nationalities quelled by Marley, the one who helped the island of Paradis to cease the supremacy of this nation. He also helped the plan of the bearer of the Titan beast to start the Euthanasia plan and end the Titans for once and all.
In the last scenes of the series, many characters were seen after the final fight and in such a way that fans got an idea of what happened to many of them. But for Yelena AOT’s one of the biggest villains, nothing can be said, we don’t know if she is alive or if she’s dead like her beloved Zeke.
Where is Yelena Attack on Titan? Is she alive or dead?
After Eren initiated the Earth explosion on Shiganshina, the Marleyans and Scout Corps soldiers formed a partnership in an attempt to stop the then villain from destroying the entire world. Therefore, they decided to catch Yelena with the help of the power of the Quadruped Titan as Yelena can be quite useful in finding Eren as she has the necessary information to find the bad guy.
As we know Yelena is a strong woman, she is a force to be reckoned with so she refused to give any information they needed about Eren. To make her speak Theo Magath crushed her arm which served him right in a way as she kept a condition that she will only speak if they carried her broken arm with them.
Yelena was then seen on the Azumabito ship lying on a bed trying to recover from her broken arm while the others try to get more information out of her. She appears to be sad as she gets to know about the failure of Zeke’s plans. According to her, Zeke’s plans were far better and peaceful than Eren’s method. However, Yelena finally tells them what she knew and the forces zoom off to find the Founding Titan. But Yelena stays back at the boat with Kiyomi, Gabi, Annie and Falco to visit Hizuru.
Yelena was then seen on the Azumabito ship lying on a bed trying to recover from her broken arm while the others try to get more information out of her. Later on, Falco transforms into transforms the New Titan Jaw which results in an explosion and then the ship sinks because of it. With help of their wings, Annie, Gabi and the Titan fly off, while the rest including Yelena saves themselves with the help of a few lifeboats.
Yelena is last seen in the series in a memory of Gabi, lying in the boat covered with sheets next to Kiyomi. It’s safe to assume that these boats were somehow rescued and ended up reaching their destination safely. As for the Azumabito, we knew things went well since after the three-year leap, Kiyomi appears next to Queen Historia.
After all is said and done, Yelena is alive and safe on Hizuru. Though she has nothing to do on the island, she ended up as an enemy of the Jaegerists, who took over Paradis and are after Yelena’s head.
