Did Lady Loki Try To Acquire The Soul Stone? Vormir Connection Explained
Lady Loki is introduced in the Loki series’ episode 2, revealing that the evil Loki variant attacked planet Vormir in 2301. Why does the evil lady Loki to the planet that once held the soul stone? After teasing the fans with the unknown evil variant of Loki at the end of episode 1, episode two finally revealed the evil lady Loki as the God of mischief managed to track her down through the timeline. However, the TVA wasn’t successful in capturing lady Loki as their plan fails when she flees through a time portal, Loki following close behind.
Why did Lady Loki visit Vormir? Does she want the Soul Stone?

The sacred timeline into disarray to the point where it causes uproar among the TVA who will struggle to handle things properly. These attacks were not restricted to one point. They took place all across time and space at different locations, including Earth, Xander, Asgard and even the home of Thanos, Titan. Viewers should note that all these locations are pretty crucial in MCU history.
Another case of this is Vormir; the TVAs timeline monitor shows that the lady Loki assaulted the planet in 2301; while it might just be a pastime reference, the trailers for Loki hints that there’s much more to this reference.
One such shot in the marketing for the Disney+ series that resulted in many presumptions was of a mysterious blonde female character on a planet that looked similar to Vormir as formerly observed in both Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
For a moment, fans assumed that the female was Black Widow, but now it’s clear that it was lady Loki proving that she doesn’t just time bomb Vormir but disbursed some time there alongside Loki. The planet is famous for being the home of the soul stone. To think that she was after the soul stone to increase her already impressive powers is logical, but that most likely wasn’t the reason behind her presence on Vormir.
Does the Soul Stone still exist on Vormir?
We are curious to find out whether the soul stone would be on Vormir or not because, according to the events of Endgame, the Infinity stones were destroyed by the Mad Titan, meaning the stone should no longer be there. However, the reset charges set up by Lady Loki are creating multiple branches in the timeline.
It is possible that in one of those timelines, the soul stone still exists on Vormir, meaning if someone wants to acquire it, they would have to sacrifice a loved one which seems complicated. It would be intriguing to see that Vormir is not only a location she plans to targets but one where she stays.
Following the main timeline the Infinity stones were destroyed by Thanos, the red skull will no longer be stuck there. Then we can imagine that Vormir would be stranded entirely, making it a potential location where lady Loki will go so that she could remain undetected. Now all of this is just an assumption, but it would be interesting if this is the case because a lot could deviate in the universe then.
There must be something important for lady Loki to set the reset charges there. Lady Loki doesn’t have an endless source of reset charges, so she must choose locations where she knows many destructions can be inflicted on the timeline. As we know, Vormir is a significant location in the history of MCU.
She may not be after the soul stone and to think that there would be a Black Widow seems doubtful, but lady Loki returning to the planet seems possible. The Loki series confirmed that the Infinity stones don’t matter anymore, at least to the time variance authority, which raised some arguments about invalidating black widows’ sacrifice in Avengers endgame.
With vomer back in the game, it will bring back some feelings about Natasha’s death. We don’t know what will happen there, but marvel should show more about Vormir as they move forward with lady Loki’s arc.
