Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season 2 has been a never-ending countdown; will it ever come out?
Over the years, many animes have gone by without a second run as fans stay hopeful for the show to return and Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero is another title on the same list.
Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero is an Action-Fantasy anime based on the light novel Hagure Yūsha no Esutetika written by Tetsuto Uesu.
The plot is set in a world where several young men and women travel to fantasy, and in return, a few acquire special abilities from their survival. An international training organization named Babel protects these young returnees and trains them to use their power.
The story follows Akatsuki Ousawa, also called the “Rogue Hero,” who leaves behind his peace in the fantasy world Akayzard and returns to earth with Miu, the daughter of the demon king he defeated. Akatsuki Ousawa is forced to hide Miu s’ identity by having her pose as his little sister. The duo joins Babel, a school for the returnees who have gained magical powers in the fantasy world.
Babel s’ job is to train the interdimensional travelers and harness their power for the benefit of humanity, albeit their operations are shady. A new chapter for Akatsuki is about to begin in his universe. Can the fake siblings survive the training school and its council while maintaining their ruse is the central plot of the show.
It’s coming over a decade now, and since Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season, one ended. The anime is not just an action fantasy but also features harem and ecchi tropes in a huge capacity.
Fans have been waiting for a long time to know whether the show will be renewed for the second season; keep reading to find out the latest on Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season 2.
WHEN WILL THE AESTHETICA OF A ROGUE HERO SEASON 2 BE RELEASED?
Rogue Hero season one aired between 6th July 2012 to 21st September 2012 with 12-episode series adapted by Arms studio.
As of July 2022, there is no update from the studio or the writer for Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season 2.
It’s been nine years since the show ended, which makes it challenging to build a case for a second installment. Although we have seen shows being renewed after nine years, it relatively turns hope into improbable.
Studios generally don’t announce updates on canceling old shows as it might affect the revenue from manga and merchandise.
The anime’s disc sales were made during the 2012 summer season. A total of 6 volumes were sold, with an average of 2,188 sales figures. That number might not mean much now, as disc sales viewership has decreased due to technological advancements, but in 2012, creators would have expected to sell more.
Speaking of Studio, Arms is considered of the big studios which make Ecchi/Hentai/Harem anime along with conventional shows, and we all know that most of these series don’t get a second run due to the nature of the content.
Either way, as of writing, the chances of renewal look bleak, and we don’t expect Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero to return for a second season. The status for renewal as of writing stands as Abandoned.
However, by some miracle, the studio or any other production company does pick up the show. In that case, we can expect Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season 2 release date tentatively to be 2023.

AESTHETICA OF A ROGUE HERO SEASON 2 PLOT
In the finale of Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season one, “The beautiful Demon Warrior, Miu,” we see Miu and Harak have been transported into Alayzard as Listy informs them that her friends have been captured.
A plant monster appears out of nowhere and starts molesting them, and Listy tells Miu that it’s a sacred pose that excites the monsters.
The scene cuts back, and Miu snaps into reality, wondering if what she thought was a dream as Akatsuki scolds for staying up late and tells her to sleep.
Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero season 2 will likely start a new adventure according to the prologue of the fourth volume. Akatsuki and Miu would get closer despite their pseudo-sibling relationship.
Unanswered questions such as Akatsuki s’ brother turned out to be one of those council members, did he ever fight the School Council President? What happened in Alayzard? What happened with our Akatsuki’s father? would need answering.
Haruka will be back to gain Akatsuki s attention, rumors are that Miu will fight Haruka to keep her away from Akatsuki. Aokusa failed to summon his weapon in season one and would look to do better with a newly upgraded sword.
