Classroom of the Elite season 3 gets its official premiere date!
Schools and classrooms are among the most common premises for many popular animes. Assassination Classroom, Fruit Basket, and A Silent Voice are some popular series that often gets mentioned in this genre.
In recent times, Shōgo Kinugasa s’ light novel series Classroom of the Elite anime, adapted by Lerche studios, has also found its place on the aforementioned list.
The plot follows Kiyotaka Ayanokōji, a student in Class D at Tokyo metropolitan advanced nurturing high school which focuses on teaching Japan s’ finest students.
The school is unique in many ways as it offers what any kid in his student life craves i.e., freedom and finance. Each student is given a monthly allowance of 100 000 points which can be used at the local shops with each point counting as 1 yen.
Whilst he majority of the class spends the money lavishly with no academic focus, Kiyotaka becomes suspicious.
As the month draws to an end, their allowance is cut off and the students are told the allowance will be given only on merit basis. They are also told about an examination which allows Class D students to be promoted to Class C but failure will lead to expulsion.
Kiyotaka initiates a cautious approach while navigating the system, being mindful of his point expenditures. During this process, he acquaints himself with the sociable Kikyō Kushida and endeavors to establish a cordial relationship with his reserved classmate, Suzune Horikita.
During a recent social outing, Kikyō Kushida invited Suzune Horikita to a female-only café. However, Kikyō had secretly arranged for two other classmates to be present. Unfortunately, Horikita became aware of the plan and left the establishment feeling disappointed and frustrated.
Now aware of the rules, can Kiyotaka Ayanokōji use his analytical and planning skills to get Class-D promoted amidst other competitors is the central plot of the show.

WHAT IS THE CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE?
Classroom of the Elite season one aired from 12th July 2017 to 27th September 2017 for 12 episodes. Five years later, the show was renewed for a second season, aired from 4th July 2022 to 26th September 2022 for 13 episodes.
On 6th March 2022, an official video announcement confirmed that the series was renewed for two more seasons which will air in 2020 and 2023. The second season has already finished airing, and Classroom of the Elite season 3 release date can now be confirmed as 2023.
An exact premiere date and episode count are yet to be confirmed, but we can expect a Winter 2024 release for a 13-episode run. Which means Broadcasting begins in January.

CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE LIGHT NOVEL AND MANGA CATCHUP
The light novel titled “Classroom of the Elite” has been authored by Shogo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. It was first serialized in 2015 in MF Bunko J. Since then, 11 volumes have been published, with the latest one released on 25th September 2019.
A continuation of the light novel series titled “Classroom of The Elite: Year 2” commenced its publication under the MF Bunko J imprint in January 2020. As of October 2022, four volumes of the sequel light novel series have been published, with the latest issue being released on June 24th, 2022.
According to the official website, Classroom of the Elite Light Novel has sold over 6 million copies.
Classroom of the Elite light novel is rated 8.9/10 and ranked #16 with 71k members on MyAnimeList.
A manga adaptation of Classroom of the Elite, written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shia Sasane, commenced serialization in Monthly Comic Alive magazine on 27th January 2022. The manga has been compiled into 12 volumes, with the most recent issue released on 22nd February 2022.
According to MyAnimeList, Classroom of the Elite manga has received a rating of 7.2 out of 10 and is ranked at #5401, with approximately 16k members.
CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE SEASON 3 PLOT
The first two seasons covered the seven volumes of the light novel, and Classroom of the Elite season 3 will begin by adapting the 8th volume.
A school trip to Hokkaido is announced after the final examinations, whose itinerary includes skiing and sightseeing. The novelty of the trip involves eight students, where boys and girls will be paired and separated into two groups. Ayanokōji and Kushida are paired with Ryuen as a member of their group.

CLASSROOM OF THE ELITE CAST, CHARACTER, AND CREW
The anime series has been helmed by esteemed directors Hiroyuki Hashimoto and Seiji Kishi. Aoi Akashiro, Hayato Kaznao, and Ohne Ezaki have contributed their creative writing skills to the show’s script.
Notably, Kazuaki Morita has designed the characters, and Ryo Takahashi has composed the music. The animation is developed by the highly regarded Lerche studios.
