Doctor Strange 2: X-Men Reveal Can Be Another MCU’s Tricks

The upcoming MCU premiere, Doctor Strange 2, revealed the presence of Professor X and the X-Men in the official trailer, but beware – it might be another trick.

Recently, on February 14, 2022, the official trailer of Doctor Strange in the Madness of Multiverse was released, announcing the release date of the movie, May 6. The trailer gave the audience a lot to think about with its exciting reveals.

The Doctor Strange 2 trailer hinted at the presence of Professor X when Stephen Strange was in handcuffs called by some kind of board about his entanglement with the multiverse. Another hint the trailer gave is the presence of X-Men in Doctor Strange 2, which can be another MCU trick (if you go through the history of MCU premieres).

Doctor Strange 2 cast will include Doctor Stephen Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, America Chavez, played by Xochitl Gomez, Wong, the current Supreme-Sorcerer, played by Benedict Wong, Dr Christine Palmer, played by Rachel McAdams, and Chiwetel Ejiofor, played by Mordo.

In the official trailer, Doctor Strange was shown confronting the Scarlet Witch about her experience with the multiverse. The events of phase 4 of the multiverse are based on the last MCU premiere, Spider Man: No Way Home. Which, for the sake of helping Peter Parker, aka Spider Man, Doctor Strange entangled with the rules of a dangerous spell and opened up the chaos of the multiverse.

In the official trailer, Doctor Stephan Strange was shown in handcuffs with robots like Ultron leading him to a trail. When Strange comes in front of the board, a mysterious voice is heard saying, “We should tell him the truth.” The mysterious voice seems to be of Patrick Stewart’s character of Professor X, which finally can be the moment everyone was waiting for, introducing X-Men in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In the series, WandaVision, released on the platform Disney+, the audience witnessed MCU playing around with X-Men. Evan Peters, playing the role of Ralph Bohner, a supporting character in the series, appears as Pietro Maximoff/Quicksilver. The surprising cameo made the fans think that the X-Men entry in MCU would be soon.

However, the WandaVision Season 1 finale is postulated differently, and Monica Rambeau, played by Teyonah Parris, figures out about Ralph Bohner, who is a civilian. The antagonist, Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, was manipulating Ralph with her magical necklace and with that, the thought of X-Men was gone.

Professor X in Doctor Strange 2 reveals some kind of twist the movie will include, and the Marvel fans’ wishes are finally coming true. Disney has finalized its rights of Fox Entertainment in the year 2019, and since then, the rights of X-Men have been in the hands of MCU. But, there is a possibility that Professor X’s appearance can just be another trick of MCU like WandaVision’s Ralph Bohner.

Well, if you look at the MCU history, Marvel is notoriously secretive about its movie spoilers, as in Spider Man: No Way Home, the whole cast denied the role of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire Spider Man and the trailer turned out to be edited. Marvel is overly protective of every character’s name to their appearance.

The entrance of X-Men in MCU is not a piece of small news, and there is something big going on in Marvels that the fans are not aware of. The WandaVision series led to fans thinking about the concept of X-Men in MCU, but in the end, Marvel immediately ended it with another concept.

However, before the release of Doctor Strange 2 and the appearance of Professor X, fans shouldn’t place a lot of expectations on it, as Marvel never cease to amaze the world with its trickery. Until the release of Doctor Strange in the Madness of the Multiverse, we will be shared the up-to-date MCU news with you; stay tuned.
