The head writer of Loki Season 1 shares some information about the next, Loki Season 2, indicating some exciting changes in it.

Loki, a character from Marvel Comics called The God of Mischief, is a son of Odin and brother of Thor. Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston, debuted in MCU through the film Thor in the year 2011. That all the mischiefs of Loki were shown in brief; in the film Avengers, released in 2012, Loki tries to enslave Earth by unleashing an alien army, but the Avengers fight him off. Slowly and steadily, Loki, with his mischiefs and few emotions for his family, created a warmth in the hearts of the fans.

In the Avengers: Infinity War, released in the year 2018, Loki helped Thor in saving the tesseract from Thanos, which had Space Stone in it, but Thanos killed Loki and got the stone. In the Avengers: Endgame, released in 2019, the Avengers saved everyone, and Loki returned.

In the year 2021, Loki, an American Television Series, was created by Michael Waldron, featuring the beloved villain as the main lead. It takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame, where Loki was captured by TVA (Time Variance Authority) to create a new timeline. The first season of Loki was released on Disney+, which had six episodes that aired from June to July 2021. The Loki series is directed by Kate Harron.

The Loki Season 1 writer Michael Waldron, who is the head writer, was present in an interview with Digital Spy, who is also a writer for the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, released in a few hours. Michael Waldron was asked about the connection between the events of Doctor Strange 2 with Loki Season 2, prompting Michael to uncover some exciting updates.

Michael Waldron talked about the two new directors of Loki Season 2, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who have been included in Loki’s Season 2 production. The head writer, Michael Waldron, praised the efforts of the creative team for Loki Season 2.

Michael Waldron said, “Well, I mean, look, everything leads into everything, right? We’ve hired a couple of great directors. Michael Waldron mentioned that Eric Martin is going to take over as a head writer for the Loki Season 2. However, Michael won’t be entirely moving away from the project, as he is going to serve as an executive producer. In February 2022, Wilson mentioned that the filming for Loki Season 2 is set to begin ‘pretty soon.’
