The story follows high schooler Asahi Ikusaba who is an RPG video game fanatic and forever dreams of adventuring in another world.
His wish comes true when he is reincarnated in an alternate world after he dies while saving a child from a car.
In this new world, he encounters a high-level Wyvern monster, but his own skill stats are all at level one, with the only ability he has is throwing stones.
Asahi struggles to beat the monster and calls out her dotting sister Maya who appears abruptly, killing the Wyvern in one shot.
Maya explains that all her skills are maxed out, and now she possesses overpowered abilities.
Following the events, Asahi received a promotion to the Ogre rank despite being potentially recognized as the weakest human alive. However, due to the severity of falsifying an official rank, Asahi was obliged to maintain the deception, as such an act is punishable by execution.
Can the siblings return to the old world while enjoying their new lives is the central plot of the show?

Season one of “My One Hit Kill Sister” was aired from 8th April 2023 to 24th June 2023, consisting of a total of 12 episodes.

As previously discussed, My One Hit Kill Sister Season One was deemed a below-average isekai and as a result, it did not manage to secure a position on the top-rated anime list of Spring 2023.
Studio Gekko is a relatively new production house as it was only founded in 2017 and thus has produced just three animes till now.
So, it’s clear that the anime was made to promote the novels/manga, as the studio doesn’t have the production capacity and staff to work on a sequel any time soon.
Furthermore, the first season ended on a satisfactory note as Asahi got promoted to Golem class and simply looked forward to more adventures with his sister and friends.
It is highly improbable that Studio Gekko will renew My One Hit Kill Sister for its second season.
As a result, anticipating any further updates on the My One Hit Kill Sister Season 2 Trailer or the release date may not be a prudent decision.
MY ONE HIT KILL SISTER NOVEL AND MANGA CATCHUP
The novel titled “My One Hit Kill Sister”, authored by Konoe, commenced its serialization online as a web novel on December 28th, 2019, on the user-generated novel publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō.
The manga titled “My One Hit Kill Sister” is a collaborative work of Konoe, the writer, and Kenji Taguchi, the illustrator.
The serialization of the content commenced on March 6th, 2020, via Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website. Furthermore, it was also published in the Monthly Sunday Gene-X Seinen manga magazine on April 17th of the same year.
At present, the complete manga series of ‘My One Hit Kill Sister’ consists of 11 volumes. The most recent issue was published on 12th June 2023.
The manga has received a rating of 6.3 out of 10 on MyAnimeList and is ranked #16298. It has garnered a following of 1.6k members on the same platform.
MY ONE HIT KILL SISTER SEASON 2 PLOT
In the final episode of My One Hit Kill Sister Season One, “Big Sister Forever,” Asahi is ambushed by tentacles protruding from the ground and concludes a slime in the drainage is covering the town.
Tanya has designated the influx of slime as an instance of the Great Slime Flood, a phenomenon that manifests solely upon the directive of a commanding authority figure.
Asahi, along with Seigfried and his former party, help the commons with evacuation.
Many adventurers decide to leave, but due to Sophie s’ foul temper, they are forced to stay.
Maya and Kilmaria locate the Witch of Control called Guriligula, who assumes that Kilmaria is there to help her.
During the encounter, Maya was attacked by an individual, but Kilmaria intervened and prevented any harm. Meanwhile, Kuon successfully located the central mass of the slime. Afterwards, Gloria launched Asahi into the air, who was able to use his enhanced stone-throwing ability to destroy the core.
Asahi is celebrated as the hero, but it’s revealed that Maya had weakened the slime by draining its water into a manhole crated by Guriligula s’ strike on the ground.
The episode ends with the girls wondering who should kiss Asahi as a reward, as the latter is happy to go on more adventures with her sister and friends.
My One Hit Kill Sister Season 2 should continue the story from where the first season left off as Asahi and Co. experience new adventures.
