Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season one aired from 4th July 2022 to 26th September 2022 for 13 episodes.
On 6th December 2022, a promotional video featuring the Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 trailer was released, which confirmed the Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 release date as 14th January 2023.

CARDFIGHT VANGUARD WILL+DRESS SEASON 2 PLOT
In the final episode of Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season one, “DressxDress,” we see the finale of the Deluxe wherein two contrasting personalities face off.
One is the under-18 Vanguard Champion, the hair-raising prince expecting to go pro, Raika Koshiba. The other is the 15-year-old leader of Team Blackout and a miraculous counter fighter, Yu-yu Kondo.
Yu-yu is calm and collected and never forgets to enjoy the match despite the opponent’s strength. Meanwhile, Raika is the opposite and only wants to win, no matter at what cost.
Raika never acknowledges the team Blackout, while Yu-yu promises he will take his team seriously.
During the match, Raika is determined to beat Yu-yu and prove his victory over Michiru was a fluke.Yu-yu tells Raika that he can deny him, but he can’t forgive for denouncing his teammates and ask him to take his words back.
He rides the Chakrabarthi Phoneix Dragon Nirvana Jheva, which allows him to add Bilskil to his hand and call Galondight.The game heats up as both players attack and block each other’s move. As the battle comes to an end, both challenge to win this fight if they are true Vanguard fighters.
Yu-yu lands a hit with Nirvana Jheva and lands a second check with a critical trigger using Garou Vairina.Raika checks the damage and proceeds with no trigger as Yu-yu Kondo is announced as the winner.
Following the final battle, Raika claims that he assumed counter fighters were silly amateurs but admits he was wrong. He finally accepts that Front and counter fighters are vanguard fighters.
Raika also takes back what he said about Yu-yu s’ team and refuses to smile. Yu-yu reminds Raika that they are tied one game a piece, to which Raika responds by saying, ‘ I will beat you next time.’
While the Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress manga shares the same characters as the anime, it follows an original storyline and contains many differences from the anime version.
Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress Season 2 will pick up from where season one left off as the journey of Yu-yu continues. Following his win at the Deluxe competition in Japan, both the finalist and Tohya travel to the United States.
They will be participating in exhibition matches around the country, including Deluxe USA s’ top finishers.
Away from the battles, Danji is conducting a secret investigation on the Deluxe tournament wherein players are disappearing out of the blue.

Cardfight Vanguard will+Dress season 2 will be directed by Ryutaro Suzuki, who will take over from Ken Mori.
Satoshi Nakamura is in charge of the series scripts, replacing Mori and Natsuko Takahashi. Tomokatsu Nagasaku is the character designer alongside Hiroyuki Saita and is now a chief animation director alongside Ga Young Park and Hatsuhi Yoshitake (Hiroyuki Saita is no longer the chief animation director).
Hiroyuki Oguri is the unit animation director. Osamu Masayama is the art advisor. Yuushi Koshida is credited for 3D CG. Hikari Komiya is credited for the color setting.
Idol group Strawberry Prince will perform the second season’s opening theme song, “Accelerate.” In addition, Strawberry Prince members Rinu and Satomi will voice the characters Reno Akai and Tenma Sakurai, respectively.
