Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Season 2: Release Date Predictions + Plot Spoilers
Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Season 2, when will it happen?
Animes centered around Yakuza have been gaining notoriety in recent times. In addition to the gang members, a trope that has picked up speed involves a child within the plot.
Series like Spy x Family and Buddy Daddies are classic examples of how to mix innocence in an action thriller environment.
One such anime which featured this trope was the adaption of Tsukiya s manga series, Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting.
The story follows Tooru Kirishma, also known as “The Demon of Sakuragi,” due to his nature of not shying away from violence when necessary.
He works as an enforcer for the yakuza family branch, Sakuragi, but shows a lack of restraint in most situations.
After jeopardizing a business meeting, his employer Kazuhiko Sakuragi decides to teach Tooru a lesson by making him babysit his seven-year-old daughter, Yaeka.
Initially, neither Tooru nor Yaeka knew how to react and communicate with each other.
Tooru has experience handling a child, and Yaeka is not used to expressing her emotions.
However, as time passes, both understand one another despite their differences.
Can the right-hand man of the Yakuza and the child he must protect grow together while learning the importance of non-familial bonds is the central plot of the show.

Production studios consider various financial and commercial metrics before announcing a renewal.
Financially, the anime could not provide a significant boost to the Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting manga as it failed to make the Oricon’s Top 20 manga series chart for July 2022.Nevertheless, it generated, on average, 50k sales per volume which are decent considering the genre.
The second volume stayed in the top-selling chart for eight weeks straight, the subsequent five volumes stayed there for five weeks, and the eighth stayed in the rankings for seven weeks.
As mentioned earlier, Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting was one of the top-rated slice-of-life anime from the Summer 2022 slate, further evidenced by its IMDB user episode rating.

However, both studios are relatively small and consequently aren’t capable of producing multiple series.
The good news is that there are still five volumes left to produce Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Season 2, which means the creators should face any problems regarding the lack of source material.
All in All, we can expect Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Season 2 trailer and Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting Season 2 release date by Summer of 2024.
