The concept of using mecha in a dystopian world has become popular in recent times.
The idea of pitting humanity against the onset of unprecedented disaster has produced some incredible storylines.
Using a similar premise is the original anime production by Bandai Namco Filmworks, Synduality: Noir.
The story is set in the year 2242, wherein humanity has been forced to live underground after the tragedy called “Tears of the New Moon” wiped out all living beings.
In this calamity, a mysterious and poisonous rain poured from the skies, which gave birth to human devouring creatures that killed everyone.
Humans took refuge in an underground city called “Amasia,” but when that collapsed, they began resurfacing back to land.
Forming groups of settlements called nests, humanity started living in hope, which was further protected by people known as drifters who fought off the monsters.
The plot follows an aspiring drifter named Kanta who visits a ruined museum wherein they come across an artificial intelligence called Magus.
Will these superpowers become the salvation humanity needs is the central plot of the show.

WHAT IS THE SYNDUALITY: NOIR SEASON 2 RELEASE DATE?
Synduality: Noir Season One aired from 11th July 2023 to 25th September 2023 for 12 episodes.
On 26th September 2023, the show s’ official website announced the renewal of Synduality: Noir Season 2 and confirmed the Synduality: Noir Season 2 release date as January 2024.

SYNDUALITY: NOIR SEASON ONE FINALE RECAP
In the final episode of Synduality: Noir Season One, “Favourite,” the only memory core slams Michale to the ground, which causes him to hallucinate.
In this state, he sees Maria standing amidst a flower field and giggling calling his name.
Three new laws are introduced, which state that Magus can only contract one human, befriend that human, and grow together.
It’s revealed that Noir is just a save-mode version of Mystere with distinct personalities.
Kanta calls him a hack and is disparages other drifters with a superior tone. Kanta gets annoyed by Mystere’s’ constant sighing and asks him to stop as he works on his Coffin.
But Mystere responds that it only wants to sleep, and without its master, there is no reason for its existence.
Kanta is thrown back by Mystere s’ words but understands that its emotional due to the loss of Noir.
