Tessa Thompson Hints, Valkyrie Will Appear in The Captain Marvel 2
A new photo has been posted from the sets of Captain Marvel 2 hinting Tessa Thompson, a Valkyrie, will be appearing in the premiere.
The Captain Marvel sequel will be released next year. The teaser trailer of The Marvels has revealed that Monica Rambeau, Maria Rambeau’s daughter shown in the Captain Marvel premiere, is going to get some superpowers. Captain Marvel 2 is directed by Nia DaCosta, popularly known for a horror premiere ‘CandyMan.’
Captain Marvel 2 cast, apart from Brie Larson, will include Tenyonah Parris, Zawe Ashton, and Iman Vellani. Tenyonah Parris will be playing the role of Monica Rambeau with a new character Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani. This premiere will be the debut of Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A new villain will be introduced in The Marvels, played by Zawe Ashton, who was popularly known for acting in the horror film Velvet Buzzsaw. Apart from all the revelations, in Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is always a possibility of featuring an exciting character in the premieres.
Just like, in the Spider-Man No Way Home, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, an exciting character from the previous projects, appeared in the movie. Marvel Studios never cease to amaze the viewers with exciting twists and characters.

One of Tessa Thompson’s movies, Thor: Ragnarok, made her a popular Valkyrie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Valkyrie, a shield maiden who lives to serve their lives to save the throne, lives in Brunhilde, a reigning sovereign of New Asgard.
In the premier Thor Ragnarock, Thompson was shown as a bounty hunter who found Thor in a garbage dump and sold him for fighting under the Grand Master. When Thor shared the attack of Hella, her sister, on Asgard, she helped him fight her. In the Avengers End Game, Thompson appeared again, fighting on the side of avengers with Thanos, the supervillain of all.
Along with the picture of Tessa, Lashana Lynch’s picture was there too. Lashana Lynch played the role of Maria Rambeau, best friend of Carol Danvers in the Captain Marvel movie. In the WandaVision series, her character dies, which Monica Rambeau doesn’t know.
In the trailer, Monica Rambeau came back after five years when Hulk snapped in the Avengers End Game to save the people of Earth. Monica, unaware of her mother’s death, tries to find her. In the journey of Monica finding her mother Maria, one question remains, how will Tessa Thompson, a Valkyrie, fit in the Marvels premiere. Captain Marvel 2 release date is February 17th, 2023, and till then we will be sharing all the updated news about MCU.
