Tobey Maguire’s Possibilities of Appearing in 10 MCU Projects
A successful return of Tobey Maguire, aka Spider-Man in the MCU premiere Spider-Man No Way Home could open many possibilities of him appearing in the upcoming MCU or Sony projects.
The recently released box office hit the premiere of Spider-Man: No Way Home has brought back all the Spider-Men in one movie. It was honestly a thrilling adventure to see Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland’s versions of Spider-Man fighting side by side in the Multiverse.
Tobey Maguire was the first-ever web-slinger who was present in Sam Raimi’s film of Spider-Man in 2002. Three-part were released, and the last one was released in 2007. After a long wait, Tobey Maguire popped up again, which melted the hearts of the fans.
Even though Tobey Maguire went back to his universe by Doctor Strange’s spell, it may not be the end of his appearance in MCU. If Tobey Maguire decides to continue to play the role, there are many possibilities of him appearing in many MCU and Sony’s Spider-Man movies.
And if Tobey Maguire’s version of Spider-Man does pop up in MCU again, the path he will lead is most probably be the Multiverse, on which MCU is working. He could pop in some animated movies or series. The speciality of MCU amazing viewers with the unexpected return of the characters, Tobey Maguire, can occur in many unexpected places.
Although Spider-Man No Way Home portrayed the end of Tobey Maguire Spider-Man, it doesn’t have to be the end at all, or maybe it isn’t.
10. What if..?
One of the most obvious places Spider-Man Tobey Maguire can pop up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is What if..? It is an animated series that includes a lot about the Multiverse and explores other timelines. What if..? picks up major moments from the MCU and shows its possibility in a differnt timeline.
Tobey Maguire Spiderman is one of the major moments, and there is a high likelihood of the series What it..? including him in another timeline or Multiverse. However, it won’t be actual Tobey Maguire doing the action, but it will be animated. And there are a million versions of him from which the series can pick one of them to tell a whole different story.
9. Loki
Loki, the American Television Series created by Michael Waldron, is the third MCU produced TV series. This series focuses on many timelines where Loki meets his different variations. At the end of the series, the Multiverse really broke open when Loki and Silvie (another version of Loki) fought with the main person controlling all the timelines.
In season 2 of the Loki series, there is a chance that Loki will travel through many new timelines, one of which can be Tobey Maguire Spider-Man Universe. It is possible that Loki can enter that Universe of Tobey Maguire where the Green Goblin is cured, opening many possibilities of action.
8. Secret Wars
Secret Wars in 1984 was the title of the first-ever Marvel’s crossover event, and it created a new toy line for the popular Marvel Superheroes. Some continuing rumours are being heard about the Secret Wars Movie in the MCU, and there is a likelihood that the movie may include Multiverse, which was present in the 2015 version of the event for the same.
If rumours come true, there is a possibility of Tobey Maguire appearing again in the MCU. In the Marvel Comics of Secret Wars, there were one of the most powerful variants of Doctor Doom were present, where Doctor Doom breaks down the entire Multiverse into one single dimension. Due to this, many possible realities collide and results in bizarre but exciting amalgamations.
7. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse
There is another animated multiverse focused Franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. The first part of it has been introduced to the fans, including many Spider-Man variants.
Because of its animated path, there is no reason that Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man can’t become a part of it. In the sequel of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, there is a hope that Tobey Maguire’s universe or Tobey Maguire 2021 modified version of the universe shown in it. Miles Gonzalo Morales is on his journey through the Multiverse, which can possibly cross his paths with Tobey Maguire Spider-Man.
6. Morbius
Another upcoming MCU film named Morbius introduces a new superhero which is starring Jared Leto as Michael Morbius. Strangely enough, if Spider-Man Tobey Maguire has any place in MCU to pop up again, it’s probably will be Morbius.
In the trailer of Morbius, viewers can focus on one detail when Spider Man’s poster written Murderer on it is shown in the background of the main lead. Marvel Comics fans are in love with one of the amazing villains of Spider-Man, which is Morbius. The relationship of Morbius and Spider-Man in the comics can continue on the screen and might involve Tobey Maguire’s version of Spider-Man.
5. Kraven The Hunter
An upcoming thriller by Sony is on the way, named Karven The Hunter, who popped up in Spider-Man: No Way Home during cracks of Multiverse in the end. Marvel Studios is introducing many new characters from the comics, and in this, Aaron Taylor-Johnson will be leading this film playing the role of Karven The Hunter.
There is a high likelihood that the movie takes place in Tobey Maguire’s Universe. Fans know that Karven The Hunter is Spider Man’s oldest and deadliest villain in history. With No Way Home including him in the end, it is sure that Karven will be fighting with some version of spider-man, which could be Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man.
4. Spider-Girl
Olivia Wade is directing a movie with Sony introducing Spider-Woman into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Spider-Girl or Spider-Woman is named Mayday Parker as a teenage daughter of Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man. A chance of Tobey Maguire presents with her as it can take place in his universe.
In the Spider-Man No Way Home, Tobey Maguire states that he is still with his loved one, Mary Jane, and at this point of time, they could have a child. The child will be named ‘Mayday Parker’, which was shown in the MC2 universe, in a different reality. The character will be the focus of Spider-Girl or Spider-Woman movies.
3. Spider-Man 4 (MCU)
It will be based on the direction of the next Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which starts a discussion whether it will focus on the Multiverse or not. If it does, Tobey Maguire can be a part of the next premiere, and he can become Tom Holland’s mentor, because he helped him do the right thing at the end of No Way Home.
With Iron Man gone, Tobey Maguire helped Tom Holland in the No Way Home, stopping him from killing Norman Osborn, aka Green Goblin. Tobey Maguire Spider-Man can come back at the end; Tobey Maguire is shown with no-side on his side as he didn’t join his friends and his aunt has died.

With all the other probabilities, we have no reason not to think of another Spider-Man movie of Sony where Tobey Maguire will be playing the main role of Spider-Man. In his own movie, with the Vulture being the villain, Tobey Maguire can be seen again with live-action.
Many other villains of Spider-Man are being introduced in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Sony can possibly make another part of Spider-Man, introducing one of the supervillains of Spider-Man in the Marvel Comics, The Vulture.
1. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
The release date of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been finalized, which is May 06, 2022. This movie will continue from the narrative of Spider-Man No Way Home, where Doctor Strange will face the consequences of the opening multiverse.
The movie is directed by Sam Raimi, the same person who made Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man trilogy. As there will be madness in the Multiverse, Tobey Maguire Spider-Man can pop up in one of the time lines. The movie will include other different realities, including the What if..? Series ones. It will make sense if Tobey Maguire is shown in the premiere, even for a brief moment.
